Mizer's Cost + Foods

Great store, prices, personnelI love walking all the aisles, because they offer items you can't find anywhere else.

Our family will not go back again due to the he LACK OF MASKS by the workers or improper masks. At the height of this pandemic in December '20, it's negligent and deadly to not follow guidelines. When asked to put on masks at the register, their attitudes were awful.It's a local grocery with decent prices but adds 10 percent at check out.Produce is usually on edge but they have a decent butcher. We used to go there because it was close.

Mizers is a little gem in Slidell. They carry items you may not find anywhere else, have an extensive cheese selection, are rarely "busy" or overly crowded, and the employees are friendly. Large wine selection and their freshly made Italian sausage and hot sausage are both excellent. Great prices throughout the store as well.

I was once a young lass, new to Slidell. I shopped at Rouses in those days. But once I grew up, I started shopping at Mizer's. I love Mizer's. Nothin like 34cent Mac n cheese, 96cent tomato sauce, and cheap cuts of meat. God bless

Friendly, helpful, awesome prices, always have multiple check out lanes open, excellent stock of varied brands.I just can't laud this grocery enough!They pull from the same warehouse as Rouses, they'll even order just about anything you want.FAVORITE GROCERY STORE- and I'm a pretty pick b**ch Lol

My go to place, I sometimes go to Winn Dixie or Rouses and end up paying more for things That i can get way cheaper at Mizers. Mizers is a great spot and I've learned my lesson. Their vegetables stay fresh longer and are always great.

Just encountered a VERY UNFRIENDLY cashier at the Slidell, LA store. As I walked up, I said "How ya doing today?" She said nothing. She scanned the item I had placed on the belt, I saw "insert card" on the card machine, so I inserted card. I saw that she obviously was having trouble with the order. So I said, politely "trouble with the computer?" She said nothing. Eventually she said " Take your card out", so I did. She then just froze, saying nothing, not moving. Then she picked up the phone there and said something. I then politely said, should I go to another check out?". She said nothing! Then another lady came up, and cleared the register. I saw "insert card", and asked her "Should I insert the card?" She said NOTHING. Eventually the order was completed, and was handed the receipt. I waited about 5 seconds to be told "Thank you", but she said NOTHING! So, I loudly said "You're Welcome!". She said nothing. As I walked off I said loudly "You should go to friendly school!" She said nothing. What an unfriendly and rude person!!!!!!! The reciept does not have her names on it, but "Supervisor #9033" . At bottom: C0124 #0128 15:21:02 10Feb2025. She was working register farthest to the left that was staffed. left looking out. She, and whoever trained her, are terrible at their jobs!

I love this store! Big difference in cost of food when compared to other stores! I shop other stores now and then but always go back to Mizer's, specially when I have a large shopping list to fill! I am happy with every department in this store and extremely pleased with their sales! Gotta go! Getting ready to go shopping there right now!Thanks Mizer's!

I like going to this store but what I don't like is when one of the cashiers want to stand at the end of my basket when I'm checking out standing there threatening me about coming in there. And I can't believe they hire prostitutes to work in a grocery store. The next time that cashier comes up to me in the check out I will say what I have to say and do what I have to do. She had no reason to come up to my basket and say anything to me. But I will let you know that I will handle it myself since the store manager wont do anything about it.
