Ming Garden

Good food and reasonable price but the boneless chicken breast is sometimes refried. I noticed the chicken breast was had the meat was tuff.

It's not fancy, but who doesn't love affordable tasty Chinese food for either dine-in or ideally delivery or takeout. Many other cities have places like this all over town but NOLA is a bit lacking - and the high-priced pretentious Chinese joints opening over the past years just aren't great.Ming Garden has reliable, very good Chinese food of both the authentic and decidedly non-authentic variety. General Tso is very good as is Kung Pao and Mongolian Beef. Lo Mein is fine but I've certainly had much better. But for most people this will be one of the better Chinese options in town, definitely give it a try.

Service is friendly, food is yummy and quick. Is it gourmet? No but it's perfect for what it is: delicious, flavorful, quick and easy Chinese take out. This is my go to place!

The food was good and just what I hoped for. I ordered the Lo Mein and fried rice with egg rolls. The egg rolls were okay.

4 stars for the BBQ pork fried rice. I specifically called the restaurant to give me extra soy sauce with my doordash order, he sent 1 packet, I won't be back, yes because you don't listen and you're CHEAP!!

Definitely not good tasting, and oddly all my friends and I threw up in the middle of the night after eating this. DONOT recommend

Too bad I can't select 3.5 because that's closer to my true rating. I've got a really bad cold which makes me crave hot and sour soup. They are pretty close to my house with no delivery fee via Door Dash so I decided to give Ming Garden a try. Delivery was very fast which was a plus. I very much enjoyed the hot and sour soup. The entree was ok. I liked the flavor of the pork fried rice, but not the best I've had. The Bourbon chicken was tender and in chunks like they pulled it off the bone. The description said teriyaki flavored with broccoli. There were only 3 pieces of broccoli which was a bit disappointing. It almost has a ginger flavor which was good but not what I was expecting. For the price and convenience I'll give them another try with a different selection of entree. Sorry that I didn't take pictures, with this cold I was so ready to dive into that soup!

The egg rolls have a delectable sweet flavor to them. The honey chicken and general Tso chicken were both mouth watering good.

I just had the best Chinese takeout meal I've had in a long time. I am in the thick of finals season. my soul feels healed. thank you Ming Garden.

We came into town for Mardi Gras and I raved about the food in New Orleans as my bf has never come. After the parade last night we stopped for a quick bite. This did NOT add up to the kind of cuisine I'm used to here! There was ants everywhere! In the rice in the noodles. I'm not sure if it was sitting all day before we got it or what. This is very disturbing and disgusting. I pray he doesn't get sick from this as he had a bite of the low mein before opening the rice box. 0 stars.
