Mid City Beer Garden

We enjoyed lunch here on a gorgeous afternoon! Awesome indoor/outdoor combo of seating and ambiance. Great selection of beer & drinks. Our meals were tasty and super friendly service.

We've been to MCBG for brunch and weren't that impressed. They have really stepped up their brunch with food variety and quality and many more drinks. Was so much better today! ! The avocado toast was noteworthy! The bread was a little sweet which helped balance everything else on the toast-the avocado had a citrusy note, the radishes, and pico all balanced it for a flavorful burst then I added a poached egg. Muah! Loved it! The hash browns were under cooked so hard potatoes. Those still need work. The boudin Benedict was ok. Needs a kick up in flavor. The cheesy smoked grits were delightful. Loved the smoke.

On Saturday a few of me and my friends visited. The young lady was serving us so very rude. We was going to leave but decided to speak the manager to switch our server. This server was much better. The wait time for our order took a very long time. The server informed us " the kitchen is running behind." Many tables was waiting for their order. The food finally was delivered to our table. It was okay. This was my first time there but I will not return or recommend it to anyone.

Mid City Beer Garden is always a favorite of mine! The food is amazing and so are the cocktails. I'm not a beer drinker so I always get the cocktails and they never disappoint! They have a great selection of drinks and food on their menu! I love trying something new every time I go! The service is always quick and the servers are very friendly too. I also appreciate that it's 21+ and that the vibes are very laid back, so no one gets too crazy. This is a great place to come on a Friday night! They play good music and it's never too loud so it's easy to chat with the people you're with! I will always recommend Mid City Beer Garden for people to try!

A good place to grab a drink with a friend. They have so many choices for beer, wine and drink alternatives on tap, definitely something for everyone. Although it is a "beer garden" many more cocktails were being served than beer. The environment is pretty relaxing but the music was a little loud making conversation strained. The service was exceptional.

My daughter and SIL love this place! While in town, we went for a late lunch. The atmosphere is fun and the staff are welcoming. Everything we had was soooo good!

Mid City Eating Mid city Beer Garden is a great place to visit when in BR! They have an open patio concept in the middle but exudes chill ambiance. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated. Our apps came out quickly! But there was probably a good hour before we got two wraps and cheese fries so that was slightly disappointing. We started out with the southwest eggrolls and boudin balls. Highly recommend the eggrolls! Delicious! The boudin balls were good but slightly overcooked. Each wrap came served with fries - what would have elevated the dish slightly if the fries were fried in duck fat and served with an aioli sauce. The drinks were great and while we didn't try any of the craft beer, this place is always outstanding on friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, food tastes good. We will be back!

Laid back place to grab some drinks and food. Plenty of options on tap along with a full bar. Quality bar food to go along with your beverage of choice. Not pretentious, all are welcomed. A couple of tvs to keep up with the outside world but you're not coming here to watch the game. You're here to hang with others and have a good time.Drinking on a budget? Order a Gold Star! A shot and a 16 oz beer will keep you busy while not breaking the budget.

I don't frequently get too many chances to go "out",out anymore.But we came down for our close friend Cameron's graduation from LSU this weekend.We were just going to hit the Mid City Beer Garden for a quick stop, but eneded up there half the night because of the good company and the service was so good.The wide selection of beers is the main draw, but the roomy tables and server cameradie was stand out.Bailey was our main server and probably the reason we ended up staying longer by keeping us checked in on and making some great selection suggestions!Emily was also a friendly face and helpful as well.We were well behaved and tried to be helpful, and hopefully not to much trouble for the staff. We are all service workers so try to be a easy to deal with, lol.

My parents and I went to Beer Garden for Sunday brunch and it was quite busy. Perfect day though to go because the weather was nice. Our waitress, Savannah, was very friendly and helpful. My Dad wasn't sure what kind of beer to get and she made a good recommendation that he enjoyed. We ordered chips and the dip trio as an app, and I have to say I was disappointed in the chips and my folks felt so too. They did not taste fresh, more like they had been sitting for awhile. The dips were good though. I had the beet salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious! I would highly recommend it and for me it was a big enough portion to have leftovers. My Dad got the burger which he enjoyed and my Mom got the breakfast burrito which she liked too. I also had the white margarita which is a coconut margarita. It was delicious! Service was great, loved the atmosphere and overall the food was good. We will be back.
