Michael-Frank's Salon

Just had my first full highlight with Frank and I LOVE my hair. We moved to the area recently and I struggle to find great hair stylists but wow- I have found my new hair stylist now. I have been getting my hair colored for almost 20 years by many stylists- and I could tell right away I was in good hands here. Frank quickly understood what I wanted and made it happen just as quickly. I'm obsessed with my color. He is an expert and I highly recommend his salon!For military spouses- definitely check this salon out

Finally chopped off my hair again, as it was time to donate my hair. Mallory was my hair stylist and she was awesome! For someone who goes to the hair salon every other year, I found her very attentive, listened to what I wanted, made adjustments that flattered my facial features, and was very amiable. I loved the results! She removed about a foot of hair and gave me a shoulder length bob. Also, in comparing prices to salons in downtown and CBD, they are about 60% cheaper. Very reasonable prices with a great staff in a clean and warm environment.

I go here every 2 weeks and get excellent service from Tiffany. I highly recommend seeing her for all of your hair and makeup needs. @Kim A. You must have thought you went to Michael-Franks and actually went to Fantastic Sam's down the strip. I'm willing to bet you never stepped foot in this establishment. Because I know they do not conduct business like this and had you actually been crying like a baby as you say, the owners would have done whatever they could have to make this right. You should definitely look on the outside of the building to know what business you are in. Do you even know who your stylist was?.

I can't say enough good things about this salon...every time I leave this place I feel pretty and fresh. If you want a balayage this is the place to go.The stylists are very knowledgeable. Brittney in particular is a balayage queen and she's such a sweetheart too. Highly recommend this place.

I came here on a complete whim, only barely skimming the reviews on yelp because I had an idea in my head and I wanted to do it before I lost my nerve. Let me tell you, I was NOT expecting the absolute AMAZING work both Frank and Nick did for me. I came asking for a blue balayage, cut, and dry. I've never done balayage before and I had box colored my hair a couple of days earlier. It didn't make a difference, both Frank and Nick were a power duo and made it work for me! They made me feel so welcomed and were very attentive despite the busyness of the salon! I am blown away by their work, and absolutely endeared with this wonderful team. I'm definitely recommending them to whomever asks where I got my hair done. I'll also be making this my go-to salón from now on. Thank you, Nick and Frank! I'm so appreciative of you two and thank you for the shampoo! Five stars out of five!

Absolutely amazing service, very friendly employees. Place stays clean and very updated. Kelly is an amazing hair stylist that listens to your wants, she has mad skills. Always accommodating with schedules. Couldn't recommend this place more. Don't hesitate.

I am so in love with this place right now. On friday I made the mistake of trying to high light my hair with an OTC kit. That failed miserably. I called here first thing Saturday morning and they were able to fit me in surprisingly. They even called later and asked if I wanted to be fit in any earlier. Once I sat in the chair, Michael quickly let me know that he could fix it and how. Within two hours you could never tell that I had done anything unjust to my hair and it was perfectly styled for my date that night. On top of that, a head full of highlights and fixing and error was only $100. Happy, happy girl.

I was a long time client of this salon for about 17 years, it used to be my favorite place to go and I would leave feeling wonderful. The work is great and all the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, I have decided to part ways due to my last few visits; this place is changing and not for the better. The owners aren't getting along and aren't partners really in the business anymore so much so that a wall is between them and the tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife. One of the owners I've noticed has been so disrespectful to the staff even infront of clients that it had made me very uncomfortable. All the stylists there work hard and are very nice but the energy in this place has become so gloomy that I was leaving there feeling uneasy when I use to feel so happy and upbeat ready to take on the rest of the day with my new style. I guess all good things come to an end and if it was years ago I would highly reccomend this salon but now I would suggest finding somewhere else.

Worst haircut and service I've ever received. I went in for a short stack (inverted bob) and was in tears telling to stop cutting! I ended up with a pixie hair cut and stylist said it was because my HEAD was the issue! I also asked for chunky highlights and with the low lights they put in, my hair was 4 different colors; brown, blonde, yellow and platinum. When I went to pay I was crying, they never apologized or even cared I was in tears. This isn't a high end salon or a good salon, they're the worst I've ever seen. I would never recommend anyone go to this salon! To the person that thinks I never went here and must have went to fantastic sams,you must be related to this shop! (Tony S) Why would I post against a shop you say I never entered? Your ignorant. I went, first stall on left when I entered. The lady was talking about dying her hair green, she orders the supplies. Her mom and child came in, in the middle. I don't care if you don't believe me. I will never go there again, nor would I recommend someone go there! I don't care if you think I'm lying and you make fun of me for crying. Just shows how ignorant you are.
