Mi Mamacita's

Best trio fajitas in Mandeville. I have tried the trio fajitas or similar at all of the Mexican restaurants and no one compares. I love that the restaurant is in an old house; I personally do not care for restaurants in strip malls because they lack exterior personality. I have only ordered the fajitas, so I can't speak on other menu items.

New Mexico style food is advertised but it tastes just like Mexican to me. This is one of the most popular Mexican food joints on the North Shore and they do have a pretty cool atmosphere. The food seems to be very similar to most other American style Tex-Mex food I've had across the USA but maybe something is different here that makes it "New Mexican style" that I'm missing. Favorite northshore Mexican restaurant. I could go on and on about how great this place is. I'm a huge fan of their chips and white queso. The staff is always fabulous. Sitting at the bar area is great and convenient. Love their fajitas!! I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Mi Mamacita's is a solid choice if you're looking for a good meal in Mandeville, at a good price. Pleasantly surprised by the tortilla soup, and our service was good as well. Funky, fun ambience, good music playing creates a nice atmosphere. Only negative has nothing to do with the food... the parking/parking lot is a little wonky and 100% rocks (even for handicapped). But, do check them out if your craving some good home-cooked Mexican food!

Ground beef taco was good, shredded chicken taco was dry and under-seasoned. Staff was super friendly & service was quick!

We have been searching for REAL Mexican food since moving back to Louisiana 7 months ago. Mi Mamacita is authentic: spicy and delicious but not overdone. Obviously homemade beans and rice. Reasonable prices, great food, friendly quick service. Great ambiance in an old converted house. We will definitely be back.

Had not been to Mi Mamicita's in a while as the kids are grown (it's a lot of fun to eat there with the kids). I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The fajita shrimp tacos were tasty and incredibly filling. Enchiladas solid as always. We'll definitely eat there again.

The Taco Shack was amazing. Excellent breakfast burritos and tacos. Great selection of Latin American flavors and fusion with New Mexican style food make this super delicious. Best breakfast burritos in Louisiana. Period. Chef Chiky, was super nice and took great care of us! Wonderful addition to the Northshore's New Mexican staple of Mi Mamacitas.
