Metairie Country Club

I've been to Metairie Country Club a couple of times for events. It's located deep inside a beautiful neighborhood, surrounded by mansions, which sets the tone for what's in store. I love the outside patio area, the backdrop of manicured lawns and the dainty lighting makes it look magical. The banquet rooms are large and well decorated. The food is great too! Everything I've tried there has been tasty. They definitely understand how to season their food well. The staff always has smiles on their faces and really seem like they want you to enjoy yourself.

The steak was awesome, the service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly. Loved the experience.

Great round even if it was hotter'n a two peckered Billy goat. Lot of water but course was in good shape. Greens were slow and hard for me to read but when aren't they? Cold libations kept me hydrated. Great pro shop with good selection at fair prices. Grand ballroom is a great place for a party.

Everything was phenomenal and the staff was great, especially the valet, I think his name was Greg. He was very nice and attractive. The dining room manager, Mauricio, was a little weird. He tried to sell me on the wine wayyy too hard. He's very strange, but other than that, my experience was so great at MCC. Highly recommend.

I'm not a member so who am I to review this place? But I'm a Yelp addict and an occasional guest at the Metairie Country Club so here we are.This is large, beautiful facility with experienced, attentive staff. The meals I've enjoyed here have been without a doubt, outstanding. One was in the members' dining room, another was in one of their large banquet rooms, served as part of a meal.The latter meal was especially memorable, a trout amandine with huge portions and cooked absolutely to perfection. Dessert was a decadent cheese cake, served with excellent coffee. There is every reason to consider hosting an event at the MCC, and should your finances and lifestyle allow (mine does not and never will), join the club as well.

I grew up going here, because my family are members. They have amazing food....my favorite gumbo in the city. Great venue for special events. Beautiful pool, golf course, and tennis facility
