Messina's Catering & Events

I was in New Orleans for a week-long conference and most of the parties I attended were catered by Messina's. Everything I tried was delicious! The food was plentiful, nicely presented, and different at each event. The staff were friendly and professional. I would hire this company to cater a special occasion.

LAUREN was A PERFECTIONIST, the TEAM was AMAZING, the food SPECTACULAR!Each of our guests commented on how wonderful our reception was. They have gone on and on about how great the food tasted and how gorgeous the presentations were, as well as how friendly, efficient and helpful were the wait staff. Messina's dedication to making each event they cater absolutely perfect was obvious from the first day we spoke! If you are looking for a team of consummate professionals that deliver a delicious and beautiful menu, look no further. Terrible! They barely had trays of food circulating as promised. The buffet was so poorly organized that the line of guests didn't move.Buffet tables were not maintained by staff while food was spilled by guests. The tables were unattended and unsanitary. Totally displeased with their catering! Overpriced, poor quality, deplorable service.

I had my rehearsal dinner here and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was amazing!! The people were friendly and efficient. The drinks were great. The place is beautiful and comfortable. We were so happy that we chose here and got tons of compliments.

I do not usually write comments, even though I look at reviews before making any choices. I know...shame on me.A recent event that I attended that was catered by Messina's Catering has forced me to step outside the box. The Ponchatoula strawberry salad was so delicious and my favorite part of the luncheon. The wait staff so professional. Made the shower quite an elegant affair.10 stars if it is possible! Messina's catered a large engagement party at our house last weekend. I cannot say enough nice things. From the beginning, Lydia was responsive which is why I chose Messina's to begin with although I had never tasted their food. When they arrived, their staff was on top of every single detail and their food was amazing. From the way they displayed everything to the way they interacted with our guests, I could not have been more pleased. I cannot recommend Messina's more highly. They will not disappoint!

Messina's hosted my daughter's baby shower last weekend. Stacey was amazing and easy to work with. She answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The food was awesome. The room was very comfortable. We were very pleased.
