Mentone Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful experience at the Mentone B&B for my first visit to NOLA! Charlene and Ragan are great hosts with lots of handy information about places to see, where to eat, and the best ways to get around the city. The suite is charming and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay, and the house is located so close to everything, yet far enough away to be quiet. The Japanese garden and koi pond is amazingly peaceful - great spot to read and visit with Benny, the neighborhood kitty. Delicious selection of breakfast items including cereals, almond croissant, fruit, juice, and coffee. I can't recommend Mentone strongly enough and we'll definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I had the best time staying here. Perfect location - a quiet residential street a block away from the French Quarter and a block away from Frenchmen Street (the best place to see live music in the city). The suite was spacious and full of charm, and the backyard garden was beautiful. Charlene and Ragan were great hosts too and brought us fresh bread and pastries every morning.

I have stayed at the Mentone B&B twice this year. It has been a great experience both times. The house is in a great location in the Marigny triangle, just steps from Frenchman Street or the French Quarter. The accommodations are comfortable and include a balcony on the rear of the building that overlooks a very beautiful and well manicured garden. The owners, Charlene and Ragan, are as pleasant and helpful as can be. I'm looking forward to my next visit with them.
