I stopped by randomly on a day when I didn't have my car and happened to be in the FQ area. I needed to get a new piece and I was so pleasantly surprised by my entire experience. The man working, who I believe is also the owner or manager, was very friendly and patient. At the time, the shop was also very well set up for COVID precautions, with a hand sanitizer station and service at the door, and the clerk helping me being gloved. He was beyond helpful as I made my selection, and I was also shocked by how inexpensive the beautiful piece I bought turned out to be - I would have spent double the cost for it. It has been durable (despite being glass and dropped by me a couple times) and I've gotten compliments on it. I've since taken a couple of friends to this place, and had similarly pleasant experiences. Definitely recommend.

Best price in town $5.25 for Dakarium Black Ruby cloves! I recognize the staff after visiting weekly the past couple months and a couple staff know my order already.Street parking can be challenging but knowing the right time to Go def helps. Mid-week, mid-day is best. I'm in and out in under 7 minutes, so I try not to pay for parking. Watch out for one way streets getting outta there if your driving; it can be confusing a block up where you can't turn right or left due to the meeting of two one way streets in opposite directions. You'd have to see it to know!!I also like getting incense here- 4 boxes for under $10. Current faves: California sage and dragons magic

DO NOT COME HERE, FIND ANOTHER HEAD SHOP, TRUST ME. I walked into this place to be greeted by the most disrespectful, rude, condescending, aggressive worker I've ever encountered. My friends and I had been looking at the overpriced pipes for maybe thirty seconds before she aggressively berated us with a "Are you people going to buy anything? Do you think you could hurry this the f*** up?" She continued to be rude the entire transaction and time we were in there despite the fact we were paying customers. Look, I've been to New Orleans a lot and I know you have to have a thick skin to work in the French Quarter, but this woman was beyond a thick skin, she was horrible. She must live a very terrible unhappy life or at least I hope she does.

Near my French Quarter apt so I walk here pretty often for cloves. Staff is friendly. I've called right at closing a few times to beg them to stay open 5 more minutes so that I can run down, and they've never turned me down. Now THATS customer service lol ^_^

I popped inside for a little bit to see the wares with a friend and the woman was as warm and welcoming as a spoiled hard boiled egg. Find your gear somewhere else.

This place deserves NO STARS! The guy behind the counter is the RUDEST person I've ever met in my entire life. I wouldn't recommend this store to ANYONE unless you like being spoken to in a disrespectful manner. Don't waste your time! Wish I would have read the reviews before stepping into this place.

Would give this plane zero stars if I could. The prices are ridiculously high and the selection is very weak. Worst of all was the a** hole that worked there. Not only was he rude to us but he was rude to a customer on the phone and then bad mouthed that caller to us. We couldn't leave fast enough. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies

Have always had good experiences in the past with this place. I live on Decatur so it's my go to smoke shop. Tonight though was quite different. I went in to purchase a replacement battery to an e-cigarette that I had bought less than a month ago. When I asked the cashier if there was a way to contact the manufacturer about a refund I was told that:1. No because they are disposable (which is most obviously not true)2. That they had no way to contact them. (I guess they just send the money to... really i have no idea.)3. Did I want it or not. (Also known as the "Go fuck yourself" method of communication.)Now I think that maybe this guy was having an off night but he truly was an asshole for really no reason so you might want to factor that in when you're deciding if you want to head out to this place.

Really, I guess, this should be a 4.5 star review. The staff here is friendly and helpful, and they have a nice selection of locally blown glass pipes, along with standard fare for such a store: one-hitters, screens, rolling papers, vaporizers. They are open pretty late too - well into bar-hopping hours.They sell cigarettes too, and this is a fine place to stop to buy a pack of smokes if you're tooling around the Quarter. They have the full selection of American Spirits, which is nice. However, this is a hard place to find parking nearby, so it's not the kind of place you'd drive by on the way home just to grab a quick pack of smokes.

What a horrific experience!! Wish I could give zero stars. The employee there was SO incredibly RUDE to me, I am absolutely appalled!! Do not go here unless you enjoy getting treated like dirt.
