This hotel is absolutely precious! It's in a great location, just a few blocks from the streetcar line. The rooms are well appointed and stylish. The coffee/cocktail bar is so charming, and the coffee I had was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

A friend who lives in the area suggested that we stop by for some drinks on a Friday afternoon. Upon walking in the bar/lounge area, it is so cute ! They also have outdoor seating. I didn't even realize that this was technically the lobby of a hotel. The bartender was so nice, accommodating. My friend didn't like her drink so she fixed it up for her. She just added a little something extra to make it to her liking and everyone was happy. Love the vibe of the bar. I will def be back!

Good prices on a double for the weekend of Taylor Swift. Our room had been long-term smoked in and we could tell upon arrival that we would have to air out suitcases and clothes when we got home. Quiet enough for NOLA and in a decent neighborhood. Close, 10 minute walk, to the Streetcar. Coffee barista needs some training, she said "I don't do latte art" but also there were grounds in my latte.

I absolutely LOVE The Marsh. I haven't stayed the night in the hotel but I live nearby and the cafe/coffee shop is SO CUTE! We love the staff, they are always super friendly and helpful. We stopped here at 8am on Mardi Gras morning for mimosas and white claws (we didn't prepare well on Lundi Gras!). Perfect stop! They have coffee and a full bar and a cute little outdoor seating area with hanging chairs and turf. Indoor seating and Wi-Fi available. Definitely check it out!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marsh Hotel over Mardi Gras. Joseph and his staff were super friendly and extremely responsive to our ever request. They were always smiling and helpful morning and night!Excellent location for parade route access. The rooms are a bit small and there is no elevator, that's the only negative comments I can make about my stay. We would definitely stay there again.

I am very happy the Marsh is in the neighborhood. They took a troubled area and made something really nice out of it. Truthfully, I've been passing this building several times a week for 20 years and I thought it was a "tear down." It has a coffee house attached to the hotel and I must say that the brewed coffee Is very weak but they did kick it up with a shot of expresso. The employees are very nice and I wish them well. I hope they will improve the coffee program but hopefully this will come in tine.

Where should I start cause honestly it was a lot. so I guess from the top. so I came across this hotel because of a party i was invited too from 7:30-11pm. 30-45 minutes in the party hosts gets a text saying unfortunately I have to cancel your reservations and cancel the party no refund or anything and it's like why whats the problem and it was noise complaints. which is shocking because I thought a noise avoidance was 11pm not 8pm and then how he said guests checked out because of the party so rewind before the party started guests did check out but said they had mice running around the hotel and they didn't wanna stay so fast forward..then the party was for a teenager like what do you expect to come with a party for a teenager mind you this hotel is in the middle of the hood and you are complaining by guests complaints like be real so the manager Joseph calls the host again and was like going back and forth and the host was like you need to stand on your argument I booked 3 rooms with minors and you canceling on me and you have my money so he said okay fine you can stay 5 minutes later he pulls up and it's like no I have to cancel ill refund your money but it has to be shut down and in the mix of going back and forth Joseph decides to say he even got complaints of weed he smoked in the air and that's when everything hit the fan like you have a group of black children boys with dreads and you assume they smoking weed?? Why?? you racially profiling kids off of their appearances mind you they got like 8-10 adults. Then the staff Omgosh Cynia idk if I'm spelling her name right but she a bartender like we speaking to the manager and she come in the room like yall gotta go the party has to be shut down and we like we on the phone with the manager now push off. Then after the party was able to stay she changing music and everything like just everything about it was horrible rude nasty just all around. Then when Joseph was getting the racist comments off his chest he gonna come back and say I shouldn't have said that so you know you was wrong and don't get me wrong he tried to make it right but you can't undo the pain and tears you had children experience that night. And yes you hear stories of it being all around you but to be in New Orleans and actually be apart of it is crazy cause we a place where we make people who not from here feel like they from him. Then we had a person who was at the bar all night put us on game like the guests that checked out cause of mice. The nice were the children and instead of them saying too many kids or black or whateva you call us nice nah. That crazy. That's disgusting. Nice view on the hotel but my rating not about the looks my rating is about the experience we had when we were guest at the hotel on 11/25/2023
