Margarita's Grill

This is not the restaurant at this location. It's called Chilito's. The menu is pretty small. When I asked about the previous name, the waitress didn't know what I was talking about. Music was played super loud, so that we had to yell to talk over it, even though there wasn't a big crowd. The fajitas and pupusas were pretty good, although not exceptional, and service was slow considering the small crowd. They seemed to cater to the bar patrons who looked like regulars.

Good new spot with great service. I was the lone diner on a Sunday night and the waitress was kind and attentive. The complimentary chips were great and the salsa was more flavorful than most Tex Mex restaurants. I had the three enchilada dinner-cheese, chicken, and steak. The meats were a bit above average and the refried beans were average. I subbed ref sauce for all three instead of green and cheese sauces. I'd be inclined to return to try the fajitas because the prices are so fair.

When I saw the new kid on the block moving into this prime spot on Gretna Blvd., I knew I had to get over there and taste test it for myself. It's a hard job, but someone has to do it.It was lunchtime and I was starving, so I was happy to be seated immediately and presented with chips and salsa, which was delicious. They have a really big menu with ever Mexican-inspired dish you could imagine, but I decided to get a Burrito Supreme with chicken off of the lunch menu.The burrito supreme is a calorie explosion that comes topped with lettuce, tomatoes, tomato salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The dish also comes with a side of rice. It was probably the perfect portion for lunch, even though I like when I have some leftovers to bring home. At $10 I thought it was a little small, especially compared to the burrito at El Patron for the same price, but I enjoyed it.Staff was friendly and attentive and I like the vibe of this spot, so I would have lunch here again.

Pretty blah food. Over salted. Salsa tasted like stewed tomatos. Carne Asada was tough. If you grew up in or near Mexico, you'd proably not like this place. If you are from Florida, you'll probably think it's good.

Had to give the new place a shot. It's close to work & home. Basically the same as menu & taste Los Tres & La Cazuelas, so I would say it meet the standard around here. The ceviche was great- refreshing; fajita steak was well seasoned & tender; the house special was a TON of food & tasty. Parts of food did come out somewhat cold (house special- not inedible though), but I am thinking since they just opened the kitchen may not have it fine tuned just yet. The service was a little slow considering there were only 3 tables in seated for duration of our visit. They were very friendly though & that's appreciated. We will definitely be back. I think maybe they just need to find their rhythm. It's worth a visit if you are nearby.

The service was really good and very attentive. The food was delivered to the table quickly and hot. The fajitas were good but the tacos tasted like store bought Ortega shells. Icky. The enchilada is filled with cream cheese., A little different. Overall not bad.

Their nachos are awesome! We got them custom ordered and they came out delicious. We've been there twice and each time has been really good. I definitely recommend their nachos, since that's all that I get. I get my nachos dressed with chicken, refried beans, chips, sour cream, and queso. I definitely recommend their nachos if that's what you're looking for.

By far the best Mexican restaurant we've been to on the westbank. Everything tasted fresh. The service was quick. Great queso and salsa. The quac wasn't overpowered with lime. We will definitely be going back to this location.

The food was amazing and the margaritas are delicious! Great service and amazing environment... anD you have to have the shrimp tacos!

I really wanted to like this place. The margaritas are good. I tired it twice the food is hit or miss. The service is lacking in every way. It is also very OVERPRICED.
