My daughter bought something there and was told she could return it if it didn't work out and get her money back went to return the dress and was told by a different person only store credit would be given, now trying to use the almost 200.00 gift card and the place is a ghost town locked up and looks shut down... now my child is out of money if they we're shutting down they should have let people know so they could use the gift cards they had there before hand

After Leaving another boutique nearby where I wasn't welcome I strolled in this breath of fresh air. I was immediately welcomed by the two ladies who worked there, and they agreed to help me find the perfect dress for my daughter which I didn't, Which was no fault of theirs. I found one for myself, which my daughter wore so I had to return the following day to buy another one. No two items or alike in the store which I love because you never have to worry about running into someone with your outfit on. Prices are reasonable, the What is our friendly, and the shop is clean. I love the old Metairie rd location. Apparently it moved from Severn. So swing on by and find yourself an outfit for your night on the town, prom, or just one for our spring/summer festivals that are coming soon! I promise that you will not be sorry. There's also a beautiful selection of accessories and shoes.

Solid little boutique in a strip mall across from Lakeside shopping Center. I was on a quest to find the PERFECT dress for a family wedding in July in the FQ. And this was one of my stops. And it was having it's grand opening!The shop is not huge but the selections are really varied with dressy items along with more casual wear. The accessory selection was really cute too.The dressing rooms were spacious and the staff person was really helpful and friendly without being pushy.I liked the colorful selections and loved the really different styles that they had here. I didn't find my perfect dress at this location but I will be back.

This is a cute shop with nice clothes and an awesome staff.I was in here looking for some vacation clothes, and even though they sell things that are a little nicer than what I need, the woman working was really great in helping me find some pieces that might work for me. They sell a little bit of everything here from crop tops to skirts to dresses. The prices are reasonable for the quality and I loved that there is such a variety of different colors, especially pastels. I didn't find exactly what I needed here, but the friendly staff and variety of items guarantees my return.

Don't get scared away from any of those negative reviews. The owner AND the girls are SO NICE. Just had the best shopping experience of my life - they're so personable, kind, and honest about what you're trying on. I normally hate shopping because I'm so indecisive but they really helped me find the perfect outfit!!!

Clothes are very cute but I never felt so pressured to buy before in my life....the girl kept following around the store asking me to start a dressing room! I was the only one there and it wasn't like they had ppl waiting ....I haven't even found anything I wanted to try on yet! She kept telling me to buy a dress that was way too small for me. I told her no twice even had to hold the dress up to my body to show her that it wouldn't fit....and told her that she is making me feel pressured!!! I think she just wanted to watch me as I shopped ! I hope she didn't think I was stealing! It's such a disappointment! I was actually going to spend money here!

My girls and I have shopped at Maiya for years , however I had not been in for awhile. I popped in yesterday for a dress and several dresses and tops later... The service was incredible. Amber was extremely friendly and very helpful. I never mind going there by myself because Shannel always tells me the truth. She was not there but Amber was just as terrific . I didn't even have to leave the dressing room. She zeroed in on what I liked and kept bringing pieces I loved, wanted and actually needed! Also no "skinny " mirrors", so I didn't look great in the store then Omg at home!!It looked just as good as home.There were clothes for people of all ages. Can't wait to go back. Shannel , Love the new roomy store and all merchandise , but missed seeing U. Thanks again Amber. I bought some great pieces that will go with everything.

I decided to try this boutique because I was looking for an outfit for a wedding and someone recommended I check it out. I entered the store to be greeted by a lady that works there. She asked me if I needed help and I politely said that ide like to just have a look. I looked at 2 items and she asked again. I said I'm ok and walked away. Then a minute later the same question from the lady. It was quite annoying actually because I like to browse alone before asking for any help. I mean it's great that you enthusiastic but I really felt annoyed. I didn't even complete looking at all the outfits before I just got so annoyed at the pestering I walked out. In my opinion that really made my shopping experience horrible. I doubt I'll go back to the store.

Excellent customer service and great fashion advice. Staff were very personable. I can't wait to go back.

Cute clothes but manager ( I cant even believe you have someone like this working at your store) have to go. I know you are reading this and I hope that you will. I had purchased an item (a sweater dress) that I had worn to a parade. By the end of the night the material was all shredded. Well I did wear it but saying to myself why I have to pay something that I can only wear it one time and can't never wear it again. I took a chance of coming in the store to return it because I don't think it was right for someone to sell you something like that and get away with it.Well whoever you are I did you use an "F" word and it wasn't toward you but toward the situation. I did said "this is not "F" right" and yes I was upset because you did try to accuse me of lying by your comments. Well anyway she call me the next day and said that I can exchange but somehow by the end of the day she called back and tell me that I couldn't get my money back or exchange because I have worn it for the parade. I have been to plenty of parade and never have my clothes all shed up like this. I went in the store grab my sweater and she started to scream at me and told me that I use the "f" word and that she will call the cops on me and so on. this is all happen in front ofall her customer.No need to go this place. Look cute but very poor quality and poor manager.
