I've stopped in here a couple times... Always a super fun place to hang out. Attentive bartenders with a cool vibe!! It's pretty small but there is a long bar and a couple tables. They even have a few video poker machines if your feeling lucky!!!

This place is probably my favorite place in Houma. Really chill place. The service is top notch. Some of the guys who work there know all about all of the beers, super cool. There is like over 120 beers or something! 12 on tap I think. There is another bar upstairs that has live music quite a bit. And from what I understand that bar is going under full blown renovation. All together really cool place to have a drink everyday. It has a very Cheers type of feel. Always a good time!

A nice little dive in downtown Houma. I usually get a burger at The Duke across the street, and head over here for a beer. It has been several months since I have been here, but I came across the listing on Yelp, and saw that nobody has reviewed the place yet. So I have to put my thoughts down. This spot never changes. A dark dive bar/pub right below The Balcony Bar (which is a good bar to people watch during Mardi Gras). There is a small wood bar, with a few TV's that will show the sporting event of the day. Which is not intrusive at all. A few tables at the end of the bar. It is very smokey though. Which, no matter how much I try to prepare for that, it is always a shock now that Houston has been smoke free for years.A surprising tap list to be had. Usually something from Stone, Anchor, Sierra Nevada, and even NOLA Brewing on occasion. Lots of bottles as well. All fine and good, but I have noticed the quality of the taps can be suspect at times, and some of the more unique bottles have been sitting in the cooler for far to long. The service is prompt, on top of things, and always friendly.Probably my favorite pub to visit in Houma, which is not saying a lot. Though overall, an enjoyable time, especially for the locals, or me when I travel through on business. Nice and chill with no frills.

Mahony's is the bottom floor of an old brick building. They have a long wooden bar, a few bar height tables, and darts to the left of the bar. Imagine my surprise when we walked in and I asked, "Do you have Magners?" to which the bartender replied, "We just got it in today." Awesome! If you're looking for a refreshing, sweet, but not too sweet cider Magners Irish Cider is the way to go. The fact that this pub in Houma had it was super exciting. The bartender was friendly. It wasn't too smokey when we visited, but I imagine it could get smokey if it were really busy. There are a few TVs to watch sports on and a couple of gambling machines. I enjoyed our drink there and would definitely go back.

A friend and I were in town for the Voice of The Wetlands Festival and we literally ran into one of the bartenders who invited us to stop by for a Bloody Mary. We stopped in for the drink and met some wonderful people throughout the weekend. Because the weather was "iffy", we used this bar to cool off and dodge rain storms. Between the festival and the extremely warm hospitality of the owner and regulars, I had one of the best times I have ever had on a vacation. I am definitely going back. I highly recommend!!!

Best bar to visit in Houma. They have the best and broadest selection for drinks to choose from, and they even change out what's on tap enough to keep you interested and able to try new things! Not much of a drinker, but my friends and I always have something to try when we go to play darts or beer pong. The service has always been the best I've had in town, better than most stores and restaurants! They're always very quick and friendly. They have some kind of special and something cool going on almost every night, like trivia, cards against humanity night, etc. They even have around the world, where you can try drinks from different places and fill out this sort of map. A friend of mine does this and she keeps a tab open by doing so, which I find pretty cool. They don't always have the best crowd and not too much seating on super busy nights, but it's not hard to get along with everyone there most nights, and you can get creative there by sitting along the windows and what not. It's also on the parade route!
