This spot was steps away from our Airbnb. It didn't look great, or comfortable, or welcoming from the street. But step in and be greeted warmly by Paul, the incredibly sweet owner, and the southern comfort is all you'll feel. We did our bachelorette "party" there for the drag show and MAN was it FUN. The bartender asked me how to make a Negroni when I asked for one, and after he made it he told me to taste it and make sure it's good. HELL yes it was. Strong and perfect!!!Many people in our group of 12 + frequented Mags several times during our stay and everyone had the same reaction. Good drinks, chill spot, GOOD people. If you're looking for a FUN drag show, also highly recommend it. This is a hidden gem y'all!!!

Stopped by Mags 940 for a couple bloody before my flight and they have one of the best friendliest bartenders in New Orleans!! Princess Stephanie was awesome! Thank you so much for your hospitality and the buzz I'm carrying home! YOUR THE BEST EVERYONE SHOULD STOP IN AND SEE HER!UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.

Absolutely disrespectful and rude. I need a place to hangout at for a bit and they told me to get out and don't come back... fuck this bar!

It was my bachelorette in NOLA tonight and we went to there Hunk A Mania Show for $420 for 5 girls to get in and one lap dance. We thought it was going to be like a Magic Mike or Thunder Down Under show. No that was not what it was. The place itself is run down, with a disgusting bathroom, chairs about to fall apart, and raggedy swing set outside. The drinks barely have alcohol in them. That's not even the issue tho.. the issue is the lack of respect for women and lack of consent. Scott (I believe the owner) asked what the maid of honor what the bride wanted and maid of honor made it very clear something very mellow do not go crazy. Then the bride is asked to come up on stage and tells the MC right at that moment she does not want to be flipped and would like a light/mellow dance. Within minutes I am flipped onto this dancers face. I did not consent to that. We left immediately. It was overall a very raunchy show with very inappropriate sexual things happening on stage and off.

stopped in here because of the drink specials posted outside and it sounded like fun inside! absolute blast!

purchased tickets online. When we arrived,we were told there was also a drag show and later male strippers. But since we purchased VIP tickets, we could stay for all three. Then we paid $50 extra for front row seats. Burlesque show was fantastic. Then we were told we couldn't stay in those seats because they were reserved for drag show. We were escorted to the metal folding chairs , then before the male strip show we were kicked out. The drag show was also fantastic.

Classic establishment. Our bartender was fabulous. The house-made drinks were delicious and she made them into great cocktails.
