Magasin Vietnamese Cafe

A cute, clean place that has a good amount of variety for viet food. There's only one server so it might get hectic at times but she was very nice and did a good job. We asked for a side of soup even though it wasn't on the menu and she was able to get it for us which was really nice. I'm glad we tried it and would go back.

I work a few blocks away and this is the first time I walked in to their "new" spot. It's so cozy and they made me feel so welcome. It's the week in between Christmas and New Years but I felt right at home. The food was so fresh and exactly what I wanted. Got a beautiful glass of house wine and I was in heaven! Can't wait to come back and try so many other things!

Food is delicious and very authentic! Will definitely be back! Service is wonderfulas well. Will highly recommend for those who like to try some Vietnamese food.

What, a fantastic Vietnamese place right down the street from home? So glad I discovered Magasin. I was having a hard day so I treated myself to some takeout. The woman on the phone recommended the fried tofu bun, and I was more than happy with it. Great sauce, delicious tofu. The only thing I'd change is that I'm fond of crushed peanuts as a topper, but I just added my own so no biggie. The veggie spring rolls were great too. Lovely peanut sauce.

Tucked away on Magazine St this cozy Vietnamese spot is a hidden gem. I hopped in before a concert at Tipitina's for a quick bite and it did not disappoint. Get the Char Sui Bahn Mi and thank me later. I can't wait to come back and try more things on this menu. Great staff and cool decor. Be warned you may get plant envy.

So delicious, everything is extremely fresh and healthy and beautifully presented. What a beautiful calm space too! I particularly love the salmon vermicelli and the fresh spring rolls but the pho is delicious too! You can't go wrong!!!

Got our food to go and it was absolutely wonderful. So very happy to have this place back on Magazine and serving up some very delicious food.

When we arrived there was only one other couple but the entire place was full by the time we left. The server was great but she was literally the only one so as it got busy we were forgotten. I never got a water refill and it took a while for the check. Otherwise, great food and fairly reasonable prices. The portion sizes are a tad small compared to other pho experiences I've had in the city. The seating style is cozy in a narrow space so maybe ideal for smaller parties. We had the egg rolls, pho, and shrimp noodle and would easily re order it all :)

Excellent! Dumplings, pork spring rolls and crab Rangoons are awesome. Filet udon was very good. Five-star service. We will go back to Magasin.
