We booked the tour the day before as everything else was sold out. Renee was great and reached out before the tour to provide her contact information. She also offered me an extra jacket which was very kind.We were a pretty small group with only six people, so it wasn't hard to hear Renée or follow along. All the other groups I saw were much bigger. The tour was interesting and we learned a lot about the Garden District and the various celebrities who own houses there. It was a great way to will away an afternoon in Orleans and you'll be well positioned to visit the Commander's Place or Magazine Street afterwards.

Peak was our tour guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city. We were part of a small 5 person tour. Unfortunately the tour was only 2 hours long, but I felt like the guide gave it her all during those two hours and was very willing to cater to the participants interests/questions. Would definitely recommend taking one of these tours to start your stay in the city!

Shout out to Libby from Lucky Bean Tours!! My flight got canceled because of storm IDA and was literally on the phone for hours to try to get a refund from United (they suck by the way) when this amazing person texted me and told me I can choose refund or a voucher. So simple and she was so warm. I know it's not easy for business but this is the way to get a loyal customer. Can't wait to see NO for the first time and go to the tour with Libby! Praying all it well with all the people of NO

We had a walking tour of St Louis 1 and 2 Cemeteries in NOLA. Eliot contacted me prior to the tour and answered questions promptly via text.We were fortunate to be in a very small group (just the four of us). Eliot gave a very thorough and informative tour. His presentation style allowed time for questions and interesting sidebars. I left the tour with so much more information and still wanting more time with our entertaining guide!

We had James show us around the Garden District. Small group tour - two couples. Fun day, great weather in mid April. Highly recommend.

I recently visited New Orleans for the first time and, because my friend had visited the city several times and wasn't arriving until much later in the day, I did a walking tour of the French Quarter. Our tour guide, Libby, was engaging and friendly (4 stars). While I enjoyed the tour and learned several interesting things, I wished that we walked more (3 stars). Since I had never been to New Orleans, I wished that the content was more structured. So, I'd give Lucky Bean 3.5 stars overall.

Our party of 4 enjoyed our recent Saturday mid-day Garden District tour with James. The combination of architecture, history, culture, folklore and humor was a great mix for our 2 hour walking trip.

Where do I even begin? My wife and I aren't the tour type. We typically stick to off the beaten path stuff and try to avoid looking like tourists (sometimes it's pretty tough.) I found Lucky bean as I was looking for St. Louis cemetery tours and noticed the headline for small groups. Perfect. I knew this would be great. Little did I know, we happened to be the ONLY people on the tour. Libby showed up and broke the news. I was ecstatic. I was blown away at how kind, knowledgeable, and detailed she was with her tour. I wish I could have mustered more questions but she answered EVERYTHING I had in my head that I planned to ask. We had an absolute blast!! Thank you so so much, Libby. I assure you that we will be back next time we're in town! Y'all give Lucky bean tours a shot. You'll be so glad you did!!

This was a fantastic historical and architecture-appreciation tour of the Garden District where there were large historic plantation type houses. Our tour guide, James, was fantastic with stories, architectural references and history of New Orleans. As well as provided us facts about the culture, food, cemetery plots and planning, and the Voodoo religion. It was fascinating and relaxing. He answered all our questions and we enjoyed hearing about celebrities who live and have lived in the neighborhood.
