The boiled crawfish tail meat was disintegrating within the shell and had a weird smell. I called them to report the issue and I was told they would look into it, however I was not offered a refund (I also didn't ask because I didn't feel like driving back over there.) I had to throw them out. Be careful with the crawfish! The neck bones, potatoes, eggs and sausage all tasted great tho.

With so many specialty seafood spots in all corners of Baton Rouge, the hunt for quality stuff usually comes down to just picking a place. One of those places is LTK, which has had a reputation locally as a no-frills option for quality boils, despite being slept on by most folks in the city. They have become an affordable destination for boils, especially during crawfish season.Like so many places in the hood, LTK isn't much to look at. Folks are usually lining up here for most of their crabs, or crawfish, and shrimp when in season. Owned and operated by a Vietnamese family, they are sweet to most folks but take zero ish from anyone. When things get a little hairy in these parts, they're the first to put their foot down. (#1)The menu is pretty simple: shrimp, crawfish, crabs, available in a seasoned boil or fresh (aka live). Shrimp is a premium and not always available, but the crawfish is dynamite. Wherever they're sourcing them is clearly local, since the crawdads are nice and large and well seasoned throughout. I appreciate the corn, potatoes, and eggs that thrown into the mix. They also offer meat like boudin and/or boiled sausage as well as obscure parts like turkey necks, pig feet, etc. Their food is always excellent. The prices are quite good and they're usually a few dollars off from more popular vendors. They accept credit cards ($10 minimum) but prefer cash. There are a lot of signs regarding food stamps, which is only acceptable for certain items but not for boiled meat.Beware of lines during crawfish season and since they run out of inventory practically daily, it's best to call ahead of time. ____________(#1) Thanks for enforcing social distancing and masks.

The food is great, so glad I found this little gem while working out in BR. The flavor is great and don't get me started on the turkey necks.

My favorite place for crawfish. Might seem a little sketchy, but that's because it is. Go anyways. You won't regret it.

My word, these crawdads were succulent, flavored just right, sized just perfect, I was in love So good makes me wanna drive back just for more of those tasty mudbugs. Seriously?! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Coming from California where the shrimp and crawfish are $10/lb or market price... This place is my seafood heaven. We walked in, grabbed our drinks and ordered at the counter. We were rolling in a party of 6 and ordered 2 lbs of crawfish, 2 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of neckbone, 2 bags of potatoes and 2 bags of corn. Note that we had just ate at Joe's Crab Shack not even 15 minutes right before and found ourselves so darn hungry... we had to add in a second lunch to really do this trip right. I secretly hope not too many yelpers come here so that the prices stay low especially for my next trip back to indulge in this boiled seafood paradise! :)

Bought some crawfish last week. It was too salty, and there were so many reboiled crawfish. This was my favorite crawfish shop, now I'm having to look for a new place.

Don't let the crummy exterior or interior dissuade you from trying this place out. The food has some Asian influenced flavors that make this place an absolute gem. Will be back if I'm ever in town again!
