We were at the convention center and found an unlocked door that lead here. We walked around for a bit and it seemed very interesting.

This museum is located in the convention center. It is great for the fast visit. The space is very small. The display is kind of limited. Majority of the display is the 4 black children in the school and protect by marshal. Visit only required 30 minutes. I would said this is a small museum. Clerk is friendly. Entrance requires a small fees.

It is located at one end of the Convention Center and it is so small. It is not near much else that a tourist would want to see. It is very brightly lit considering the subject matter. Not that it needs to be dark, just not as bright. There is very little information that is given that is not already known. It would be nice to have details of how the Civil rights movement changed the climate of relations in the state. Maybe a larger discussion of how the enslaved were treated differently in the city versus the plantations or the slave revolt of 1811 and the aftermath. This museum is smaller than most apartments in the area. It is time to do better.
