Los Reyes has a large parking lot. We were greeted immediately when walking in and seated quickly. Service was good throughout our visit. Large menu. My husband and I both had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The dish included beans and rice. Food was okay Nothing great. Chips were warm. Salsa was bland. The restaurant was clean, there were several large TVs and music playing.

My family and I went there on 05/02, hoping to see a local band. Other customers were standing at the entree foyer waiting for the receptionist to acknowledge them and to be seated. They, too, seemed to question where was the band? We were told the band was a no show. Well, we decided to stay to try out the food as it was our first time here. We often pass by the Coursey location seeing cars, seemed busy. So, let's try this one.Of note, the car lot was rather empty and so was the facility, but it was early 6 ish, I thought. The facility appeared clean and well lighted. No music, but flat paneled TVs throughout. We were seated at table #52, and though, it seemed, there were enough staff there, more staff than patrons, it took a few minutes for our waiter to present himself. Our waiter, DC, was polite and a bite nervous. It seemed he was hard of hearing, as we had to repeat our order to him multiple times, even pointing to the items on the menu. One son asked for a sprite, the other a virgin margarita. Later, we were told they couldn't make a virgin margarita, though we earlier asked if they had them. So we settled on a virgin daiquiri, which was $12. I got one of their menu margaritas, that was weak and tasteless. After asking if they had it, we order queso with chorizo, but were later told that they can only do it with beef. It was non-spectacular and tasted bland. For the entrée, I ordered the salmon plate. Apparently, it only comes with rice and beans, as I asked for grilled vegetables. I ordered a tamale à la la la cart, as most real Mexican restaurants can do that fairly decently. I was given an option of a beef or pork tamale; I picked a pork one. Would you have it, when it was delivered, it was a beef tamale? The salmon was ok, the rice was bland, the beans were so, so. The tamale tasted of sub-Costco's or Winn-Dixie's frozen foods, with can Hormel chili on top. One of the boys ordered a chicken enchilada plate, but was delivered a chicken quesadilla. The other ordered a fajita chicken quesadilla with rice and beans, but was delivered just the quesadilla. Both sons, who are experienced Mexican food diners, barely ate their plates as they said it was rather bland. My 11 yo said it tasted like frozen food.Well, we tried the desert. Can't go wrong there with a sopapilla with a scoop of ice cream on top to share. When it was delivered, we were told that they could not put ice cream on top, but a big scoop on the side. The ice cream was good. I could go on, but this was one of the most unsatisfying expensive ($126.92) frozen food tasting subTaco Bell experience I have had in a long time. I usually could finish one or two margaritas, but only drank half of the one served me. I would take a run-for-the-border over this any day. A generous two stars given because the place was clean.Check #41

I went here with a group of 6 people for a girls night out. If you are looking for a place that has authentic Mexican food this isn't the place that I would go to. We ordered the regular nachos to split with the group and it was good but gets soggy very quickly! We also got chips and salsa which were my favorite as the salsa had a bit of a kick and the chips were crunchy. We mainly went to Los Reyes for the purpose of getting drinks and those did not disappoint! I ordered a pineapple jalapeño margarita which was spicy but good. My friends ordered the galaxy margarita and Mia margarita which were HUGE! The service was very quick and the staff was very kind! The interior is a very lively place that is super colorful. I also saw that they had an outdoor seating that was very cute. Overall it was a bit pricy but it is a good place for drinks and catching up with friends

Love this spot! Very open and great atmosphere. Service was good and management even came by to check on how we're doing and that everything came out to our liking. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was very good. Haven't received a quesadilla with this much chicken inside in a long time. Great value and taste. The margarita was also extremely tasty, but be careful. They taste way too good for how strong they are! Came with a bunch of friends and had a great time. Highly recommend trying this spot out!

I've been to both locations and glad they opened this one closer to my house. They sat us quickly, service was friendly, and kitchen was efficient. Food had the perfect temperature and taste. The best part is that the manager and owner came to check on us. Made us feel valued.

Definitely coming back! I got shredded chicken enchiladas with queso sauce and they were amazing. The interior was cool and the waiter was on top of everything. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in Baton Rouge

This place is a hot mess. We had a reservation for 7:30 and we get there on time. We check in and they say we will get sat next. Well 30 minutes go by and various people have been sat before us and they completely by passed our table. Reservations for 7:45 and beyond were getting sat before us. It took 3 different people from our party to ask multiple times before anything was done about the situation. Once we did get sat the service was very slow it took about an hour and a half for our food. The food tasted like they dumped a pack of cheap taco seasoning on it and called it a day and portions were small. Overall, I am very dissatisfied in the service and the food. Taco Bell would have been a better option. They should not take reservations if they are not going to honor them.
