Los Primos

I didn't even know this place was here until BF took me to the Chinese place next door. We haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, I have only shopped in the small grocery. As a Texas transplant, all these items were in any grocery store around. But Louisiana? I'm very happy to have found this place. I don't speak much Spanish, but the man behind the register speaks perfect English, so I ask him questions if I need anything. And they don't mind the Gringo shopping there. So happy to find all the Hispanic grocery items that I used to take for granted. Gracias!!

My husband and I went to the Mexican market that is attached to the restaurant and was treated with utter disdain. I will not nor have not been back. They could have the best Mexican food around but I will not be treated badly to get to eat it. The two women behind the register treated us as if we had no business being there. Then they upcharge us so we politely put the stuff she upcharge and only bought what she properly rang up. Maybe next time they should find out if the gringo they are up charging speaks Spanish.

We left before ordering. Worst service, out of both things we wanted to order off of a menu that only had about 15 items on it anyway. Would not recommend to anyone. Cleanliness was lacking as well.

Very good Mexican food! Very friendly service. The guacamole was great, the beans were amazing. Definitely a very authentic Mexican restaurant! And the prices were very low. I recommend this place.

Awesome authentic Mexican food. We have been to several Mexican food restaurants in Hammond but keep coming back here for the awesome food at great prices!

I had the tacos AL pastor lunch plate. It was awesome. The service was friendly and quick. This is truly authentic Mexican. Don't go anywhere else!

Solía compra carbón de 30 libras. Hace año y medio estaba a $17. Compraba una por semana y en un año suben el precio casi $10 dólares más. Me gusta ayudar a las tiendas locales pero cuando abusan en el pecio aquí tenemos Walmart. Tiene muy buen carbón a $14 por 20 libras. Carbón de roble. Se los recomiendo. Dejen que que las tiendas latinas abusen de los latinos

Great food and service! They have great prices too! I always come here for the Torta and their classic salsa. They're super authentic and you can't pass them up! Also, they have a great store for buying meats, cheeses, and so so much more. Great delicious meal every time!!

This is not a good restaurant to come. We had a bad experience in this restaurant the waitress ("Rosita") charged the customers extra in order for her to get more on tips and she even charges us 18% on to go food and charge us extra food that we did not even consumed and also some discrepancy in the prices they charge you depending on who is the customer. They charge 18% of tip even though we have to wait for our food more than 40 minutes and when we finally got the food (bland food) they forgot about us. They were many flies in the room. Is better to go and spent your money were the food and service is really a 4 star not here.
