Los Hondureño

We had a baleda todo and sopa de res. Both were delicious and huge portions. The soup was 2 entire meals for me. The sweet plantains were also very nice with the beans and sour cream dipping sauce. Horchata was on point. They also brought out some fresh fried chips and salsa. Food was great. Very few English speakers but the menu is translated into English. Hurry up and enjoy this spot before the gringos find it and ruin it. Ole!

Stopped by for a pre airport drop off lunch with my best friend who had eaten at Los Hondureno prior. She recommend this dish that is a bed of plantain with fried chicken topped with a very fresh cabbage slaw, pico de gallo and a red mildly spicy sauce. I would not have thought to order this, but it was exceptional. The cabbage was and red sauce were a bright counterpoint to the crispy, juicy chicken and made the dish a lot less heavy than most fried dishes. The taste combination was wonderful with crunchy, salty, sweet from the cabbage, savory, spice and starch from the plantain. So good! Highly recommend.

Overpriced, below average food, very sweet service, terrible and thick handmade tortillas

Los Honduras is a hidden jewel! Authentic Honduran cuisine well flavored and delightful! I had the baledas (similar to a breakfast burrito) and it was delicious! Filled with egg, steak, beans, crema, and cheese! Five stars!
