The room was great and the staff were kind! The location is ideal if visiting NOLA's Business District, going to events at the Superdome or Smoothie King Center, and it's a quick walk the French Quarter/Bourbon Street area!

My organization held an event here. I loved this hotel. It is in a central location which is walking distance from the street cars, the French Quarter, Jackson Square, and the Garden District. They offered great amenities like a gym, pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

Recently in town for the basketball tournaments my friends stayed at this hotel. When I visited daily there was constant round the clock cleaning in the lobby. Folks were friendly and coworkers were always helping each other. It seems like a lovely work environment. The lobby was giving deck the halls and decorated to the nines. One night there was also an amazing pianist as well. I can see why celebrities choose this hotel. If I ever visit NOLA again this would be my pick for a nice accommodation.

Great location away from the commotion of Bourbon Street yet closed enough to all the attractions. Rooms are roomy and comfortable, bathroom was on the smaller size, but not a deal breaker. Beautiful reception area with plenty of seating and a couple of games to kill time. Friendly staff and most important Valet parking with EV charging.

Parking is an absolute nightmare - valet hotel garage are understaffed. Unloading parking is only available for 2 cars at a time - really, really terrible first impression.

Clean and friendly, this place is about a 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street proper. You really don't want your hotel to be closer to that area!I thought the staff were great. Easy checkin and checkout. The bathroom fixtures were a little dated but it was clean. I didn't try the pool, gym or restaurant or bar. Tip: get a taxi to the airport. Flat rate of about $36. The staff will call for you. Ubers will be over double.

This hotel needs more than a face lift.I have stayed at many different hotels throughout the area the past 7 or so years I've been visiting. I have to say, I expected more of this hotel especially the price point. Do you have allergies? The hotel has a horrible perfume smell in the lobby. Like a cheap woman's perfume. It really was a trigger for me each day. Don't stay here if scents are not your thing. Bathrooms are very outdated and we were two people traveling for our anniversary and given one bath robe. One robe? No slippers. The hotel is very out dated - seemed clean enough but how much cleaning can each service in the morning or afternoon do with all the other rooms that are there as well? The hotel needs more staff for a deep cleaning. It's up to management to schedule deep cleans. Our bed sheets were always clean outside of what is pictured below. How is housekeeping supposed to lift the mattress? Concerning that this is never washed though. The pool is very, very sad. I have seen better pool areas in 3 star hotels. The gym overlooks the pool too and feels more like a gym and not a vacation getaway. Very dark. The front desk was kind and helpful. Not the most outstanding. With that said, the times I did call down everyone was so prompt and kind. Valet area - they have the stand but not one person to help with your bags or your door. Not sure why the staff is even there for this. When we came back one evening our security guard was sitting in the chair and snoring. SLEEPING! Saturday night after the parade. The doors are locked and you have to stand but really? The water smells here. A couple of times when I was in the shower and even at the sink the water had a terrible odor. I am thinking the filtration system may not be that great and this was the most eye opening. Coffee and tea available in the morning before 11. It was a nice touch and the lobby bathrooms are always clean. No turn down service. I have some photographs that I am attaching of the bed skirt and the pool.

Oh, my...lanta. I have not been having the best of luck with hotel stays recently. Yikes. Let me preface this by saying that I did not pick this hotel, I came to New Orleans for work and I was not initially put up in here. I was put here by my work to fill a contract. The location of this is not bad. It is somewhat central to wherever you might want to go if you are sightseeing. Casino across the street, Bourbon Street a few blocks away, waterfront a few blocks away, and there a restaurants and shopping galore. The view from my room was a bit on the spectacular side. Which I hope is one of the first things you will notice about this place as well. Once you focus on the room, you will be second guessing things about this establishment.Like other reviewers have said, this place is dated. It is also in need of some TLC. How did I know it was dated, the alarm clock. This wasn't your run of the mill, USB having alarm clock. This thing was straight out of the late 90s, early 2000s. This thing was a CD, AM/FM alarm clock. Like, what? I didn't bring my CDs with me, I didn't know. The wallpaper in several locations was peeling off the wall, more so in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, my toilet paper holder was hanging by a thread. The one corner in there, closest to the shower, was rusting through the wallpaper. How does that happen? My toilet clogged at one point. Then there is the noise. Depending on what room you get, you may have very close neighbors. If you have very close neighbors you will definitely hear their conversations in the hallway and the continuous slamming of their doors at the latest hours possible.Breakfast is not included, but if you want to spend $22 you can attend their omelet bar in the morning. The pool area, yikes. It is nice they have a pool, but the hot tub looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in some time and there was kind of a film on the seats in it.The shining spot in all this was the staff. They were always there to greet you at the door, asking how your stay is going, and just genuinely smiling. They do some quirky things here to help you out, like having umbrellas at the ready in case it decides to spit some rain.Thankfully my work had me busy at another nearby hotel so I didn't notice that the Saints were using the hotel as their base for spring training. That probably contributed to the noise.

Had an absolutely horrible stay or the lack of for the Mardi Gras celebration in the New Orleans. Had my booking of Luxury King Room with city view done way in advance via Booking.com, where I am a Genius Level 3 with HUNDREDS of successfully completed stays, during neither of which I needed to pay for any damages made as simply there were none made. I have a LEGAL background and I used to work for a moment at a Reception of a Hotel and it is a Hotel's / Chain's responsibility to ensure everything is compliant, especially as it concerns additional charges and the overall price, as the Hotel attempted to charge me over USD 200 for the damages deposit, while neither in the pricing nor in the Policies section of their Hotel at Booking.com such a deposit was NEVER mentioned, therefore I refused to pay it, which resulted in myself and the companion (both of us being considered DISABLED at the moment - myself due to left leg oedema and left knee injury, so I can barely walk) being denied to check-in, despite Booking.com contacting Loews Reservation on my behalf earlier yesterday before my arrival. I do have a video recording of the security guard and hotel staff refusing myself and my disabled companion to check in at almost midnight leaving us without a place to stay in a foreign country. As it is a Hotel's legal obligation to provide all pricing details either directly or in Policies section, a lawsuit shall follow as my left leg got worse because of this atrocious treatment, as I was forced to search for an altetnative accommodation at midnight walking with a luggage while I can barely walk.

Firstly, hotels and businesses still use COVID as an excuse to provide subpar service, we all understand that! This hotel is no different! I arrived at the hotel from the airport at 10:40 am. Walking into the lobby I see at least 50 people lounging around. I get to the front desk and am told their policy is no early check-in and check-in begins at 4:00 pm. All these people waiting had the same issue. The company probably changed its "early check-in policy" after COVID-19 due to the loss of staff. Now four years later and with a full housekeeping staff that refuses to allow for early check-in leaving people to wait for hours upon hours to get into their rooms. Check-outs are getting earlier and earlier and check-ins are getting later. It seems to the customers that sooner than later these hotels would like your money but will not provide ANY service at all! This hotel especially was operated without caring, empathy or "service". I will not be staying in ANY Loews hotels ever again!
