Little Tokyo

It's a small corner business so you'll really have to look for it. It looks very small like it wouldn't have much to it. Once you get inside you'll see that they have 4 hibachis and a sushi bar. The dining area if you're not doing hibachi is a little small, but it makes it kinda need because you're so close to the hibachi you can watch the show. The sushi is really good. Always seems to be fairly fresh. I don't care for the dressing on the house salad. The use the mayo based ginger dressing and I prefer the other one. Overall pretty good place to eat.

They have moved to a new location. Although the upfront Habachi experience isn't there anymore due to the huricane Ida and the location change. They still have the same great food and upfront staff. We are glad that they are back in action. No Liquor since they moved but this would just give you a break from all of that. If you desire, just bring your own shots.

First off how is it you don't have ranch dressing, just some type"house dressing". Ordered chicken teriyaki which was very bland like no flavor...not to mention one piece of broccoli.‍....my friend sushi was okay..but anyone I want be going back....

There are not a TON of options in this part of town but I was looking forward to some sushi. Walking in I was a little disappointed. The building could really use a makeover. It's not bad just not super clean/nice.My husband and father-in-law enjoyed hibachi while my mother-in-law and myself had sushi. My salmon roll was okay. Shumi was pretty soggy. The miso soup was on POINT! Overall, it was an okay dining experience. I would not go back but not bad.

Okay, I don't know what they seasoned my food with but I have been craving it ever since I left. It's not a very fancy place, but the filet mignon hibachi plate was just honestly delicious. I've been to another hibachi place much closer to my home (incidentally also called Little Tokyo, but in Metairie) and that place was unbelievably overpriced and bland. I would drive the extra 20 minutes to go here instead no questions asked.

This place is so great, I also enjoy the sushi bar service, it was so great!There are all kinds of food is to let a person want to come back to a again!The tour passed here, this is the best I've ever had a sushi restaurant in New Orleans!Service is also very kind, just like home!Next time travel, I also must eat again in here!

Little Tokyo has always been one of my favorites when it comes to hibachi! The prices are a tad bit higher for certain things, but it is all great quality and presentation. I loved everything that I've tried from there and don't understand why some people are so mad in the reviews.. don't listen to them it's great, try the Boutte roll and the seafood fried rice.

Well this place is the worst most disgusting restaurant you could ever imagine! Beware of botulism! We walked in and the hostess ignored us. When we were finally seated. The plate put in front of me was dirty. The hibachi grill area is disgustingly gross with grease splatter all over the place. I had been eating here for years and have watched this place go downhill. Now it's just disgusting. We walked out and I will never be back. They just lost a great customer.

Do not go there , I was a loyal customer for over 20 yrs until they continued to mess up my order and give me a hard time to fix it. The. Managers have poor customer service skills and the quality of the food is declining, they usually open at 11 , but open at 12 when they feel like it. I was gonna take my Brother there for his Bday , but he told me they messed up his order 3 times already and another loyal friend of hours. That's 4 people I know complaining . What a disappointment this place turned out to be. Hopefully someone who cares about changing this will see this.
