We dined here on a Friday night. We were greeted by smiling faces and seated right away. We did not have a reservation, but the later it got, this place got really packed. Plus, the parking is a little cray cray out there too, so I would suggest getting here early or if they do make reservations do that if planning on coming here on a Friday or Saturday night.I have been working my way through the city eating at Thai restaurants and this one is one of top gems in our city. It used to be Mama Thai and unfortunately, I never got to taste her food. But I am here now and am loving Lime Leaf Thai! For apps, I tried my first Tom Yum, I heard they make a good one. Well considering it my first Tom Yum and have nothing to compare it to, I think it was fantastic! I am still thinking about that soupe, especially every time a cold front blow through. My hubby had the won ton soup, that was tasty, but not yum like Tom Yum. Next, I saw the specials and it all looks really good. Especially all the scallops. I ended up not doing any of the specials as difficult of a decision as that was and ordered the pad kee moa. I thoroughly loved the flavors and I made it a little spicier. The manager, Patrick, stopped by to check on us and I told him how torn I was with the specials and he said if I wanted scallops, I could have had them added to my pad kee mao. Very accommodating and very kind. I told him about my Thai Journey and how much fun it has been trying all these restaurants and that I found Thai Leaf to be of the best out here and he was proud to hear that. Keep doing what yall are doing! We will be back!

This restaurant is always amazing. I haven't been able to visit in some time and had an opportunity to partake last night so I did a Togo order. I ordered my usual spicy basil beef stir-fry and the tuna tower. Both were delicious (I ordered the spicy basil med-hot and it was packing a punch last night) be careful what you ask for. lol. The Tuna tower was also delicious only complaint I had with the meal was the chips were over fried and greasy compared to normal for the tuna tower. Lastly and the reason I dropped 1 star is because they put the served cold tuna tower in the same bag, on top of the hot stir fry and under the hot rice container. Had I left it like that for my drive home it would have been a disgusting half heated mess. Thankfully before even walking out of the restaurant I opened the bag and took it out. Just wish they would think about packaging to ensure the best quality on arrival for Togo orders. Sorry I forgot to grab photos but my previous photos are still current as to amazing looks and flavor. I will continue to enjoy meals here and highly recommend.

Great place to grab Thai food on a Saturday night with friends.Started with an order of spring rolls and roti. Love the red curry sauce that accompanies the roti. Perfect for dipping. Our table ordered a variety of soups and curries. Favorites included the Tom Ka Gai soup. Chicken and coconut milk broth with Thai herbs. So warm and comforting. The red curry can be ordered with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or a combo of chicken and shrimp. The red curry sauce, combined with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, carrots, bell peppers, and basil is so delicious. The Khao Soi was so rich. Is it a soup or is it a curry? The coconut curry broth soup is filled with so much flavor. The rich soup comes with sliced chicken, a chicken drumstick, crispy and soft egg noodles, fried onions, mustard greens, and Thai herbs. Love the crunch of the dried noodles mixed with the broth. So unique and so yummy.Add a Thai iced tea. So refreshing. The owner came to check on us multiple times. My friends know him, but they say he also checks on patrons that he doesn't know frequently. A really nice place to have dinner with family or friends.

Ordered takeout for lunch, pad thai, crab rangoon, and hot and sour soup. Plusses, friendly staff and quick service. Minuses, food very bland, not spicy at all. I didn't specify spicy, but niether did they ask for spice level. Thai restaurants usually ask that. Thank goodness I asked for hot mustard for the rangoon. They didn't have that, but did have swett chili sauce that was a little spicy. The hot and sour soup was really not good. I tried to fix it with lijme juice, chili paste, and rice wine vinegar which made it some better. The crab rangoon was middlin'. The pad thai was okay after adding crushed red pepper flakes, but certainly not the best I ever had, again, just okay.

Lime Leaf Thai Eatery is a super cute establishment. One of the first things I noticed was that they were playing a WNBA game. I really appreciate it that they were supporting women's sports. After a while, they switched over to the soccer game which also is my second love so that was amazing too.The food was a delight. The owner was very attentive. He came over a couple of times to see how we were doing and even did some minute adjustments to the table to make sure that it was comfortable for everyone. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The tofu was really solid and on top of that, quantity of appetizers we ordered plus the quantity of dishes really highlights how quality the menu is because it didn't feel like we were repeating any proteins or any flavor families. Really high-quality Thai food. Definitely something to check out if you're in the Metairie area.

I ate here for my first time recently, but I had to come back again for their spicy Chicken Pad Thai. It was so well balanced and flavorful! The wait didn't take long, and the food came out steaming hot and fresh. A very filling and satisfying meal. The staff is very nice, and I found myself not having to ask for anything. The restaurant is very clean and open feeling, with plenty of dining available. I will definitely be eating here again when I'm working in the area.

Lime Leaf had really great Thai food! They have a lunch special menu which was really great and our server recommended to get the curry. I got red curry with chicken and it was really delicious. They also truly make spicy food and I normally can handle spicy food, but I got Thai Spicy and it was pretty spicy for me so I would recommend being careful of the spice levels. The service was great and food was pretty delicious!

I came in on a random weekday. I have driven by several times but never had a chance to stop in. I was promptly greeted and seated. I got the combo pad Thai and a Thai iced tea. All of it was just amazing. Super cute inside. Because of the location, be careful pulling in and out of the parking lot. I can't remember the name of the dessert, but it was delicious.
