The dumplings were great! Some of the dumplings were a hit and a miss but our favorite was definitely the pork and chives dumpling and xiaolong bao. The crawfish and oyster dumplings wasn't our favorite but it was definitely something different. The service is good. We have been here a couple of times and things are changing. When we first ate here, we weren't charged for extra sauce, but that's okay. We would definitely pay for extra sauce because it's amazing! The drink cups aren't as big as they use to. But it's free refills. The ambiance is cute. It fits the theme. The only thing we hate is the chairs lol.

I have mulled over this review since our visit on Sat 1-11 for an impromptu lunch. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items? But it's more than that. I've had dumplings in Connecticut, NY, Texas and even Huntsville, AL, and this just missed the mark on lots of things.1. It was a cold day outside, and it was a cold day inside; only the tables furthest from the door had any semblance of warmth. People were moving tables as soon as they became vacant to get away from the door. Small location for not a lot of tables.2. Lots of incoming traffic, but they were still mopping the floor with bleach in the middle of people seating themselves.3. 2 kiosks to order and one in person clerk. We chose in person and had to practically drag the information out of the counter clerk. I really felt like we were ordering blind. From reading reviews, we'd have been better off at a kiosk.4. Tipped nicely, not realizing I would place the order with a clerk, pick up my order, get my own plastic ware, fill my own drink (I had to ask for the cup) and throw away my own trash. No hostess and no one seating. Note to self: tone down the tipping.5. They were out of garlic sauce, which I was told was very good. Told they didn't have the beef quesadilla dumplings, though I'm pretty sure she meant they were out of them, since others have reviewed them.6. Tiny wooden bench seats (no arms, no backs) are slick and not meant for movement. I am NOT a big person, but they were tinier than my fanny, and I ended up on the floor backwards on my bumm when I went to adjust my position. Nice bruise behind both knees from where my legs scraped the edge of the stool on the way down. 7. Ordered Buffalo Chicken, Philly Steak and Chicken Teriyaki. Husband loved Buffalo Chicken, and they are mild, but also bland. Philly Steak - I didn't taste the cheese until probably the 3rd dumpling? Chicken Teriyaki needed Mulan sauce for taste. Sweet chili was mostly oil. And if we had dropped them all in the same box, we wouldn't have been able to tell them apart. Took home leftovers to put in ponzu sauce, but they're still in our fridge 3 days later - forgotten.8. HYGIENE FOLKS! Took a table to the back that had just been vacated and chose the least messy table spots on it. There was a line coming in the door, and people standing behind our table waiting for us to get up so they could sit down. Do you see something missing here? Like maybe, wipe down the table and don't worry about the floor - unless it happens to be the one I'm falling on? Really, no one was wiping down tables, and there weren't wipe sitting out for you to do it yourself.9. Took a menu home and have a better understanding though it's not easy to decipher. Write it out for those of us who didn't grow up with dumplings and/or don't eat them every day.The pricing is very attractive, but I would only eat this as a to go item in order to avoid the bleach, slick chairs and dirty tables. And honestly, I don't even see this happening.

The impression I get about Legend Dumplings (Mulan Dumplings?) is that it's meant to be a fast food option for dumplings. They have all of the good dumpling options and there are combo options where you can add fries and drink for a little more. Fries and dumplings is a new concept for me for sure. They all have a variety of different non traditional dumpling options. I was curious, but decided to try the traditional options first. I got an order of the Assorted Shrimp Dumplings and the Shanghai Xiao Long Bao (Soup dumplings). I ordered from the kiosk and with each dumpling order you can choose a sauce to try it with. I got a General Tso sauce and the Mulan sauce. If you wanted additional sauces it is 50 cents each. I also opted to eat in.The kiosk was pretty straight forward and I had no troubles ordering from it. When my order was ready they called my number and I came over to get it. You can grab the utensils you need and fill your drinks on the side. The dumplings came out in boxes and the sauces were individual sealed containers that were a decent size. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Xiao Long Bao in the box. It was actually a little more challenging to eat that way and adding the sauce was an additional challenge. You definitely have to use a spoon to scoop the Xiao Long Bao before you attempt to add the sauce. Besides that both dumplings were good. I wish that the sauce had a resealable top. I was unable to finish my food and wish I could have taken my open sauce home with me. The ambience reminded me very much of Ancient Chinese movies with the decoration. The owners made an effort to create that feeling and it was very unique and appreciated.Service: It was good. You can order at the kiosk or at the counter. When your order is ready they will call your name. Drinks: Non alcoholic drinks.Parking: There's a parking lot with plenty of parking.Pets: Not Allowed.Outdoor Seating: None

I tried the beef ramen with hell base & the mixed soup dumplings. Both were great but I really enjoyed trying the assortment of dumpling. I got it as a combo which came with a small portion of fries and a small drink. I would come back probably when I want something lighter to eat. The staff was friendly and it's nicely decorated inside.

My cousin and I wanted to check this place out since it just opened. First off, the decor looked really good! Like the aesthetics gave off ancient China type of vibes. For ordering, we had to order our food first and then receive them (just like at a fast food place). Service was nice and quick. I got the Pork Ramen with the spicy "Hell" base ($8.95) & the 6- Piece Mix Soup Dumplings ($7.95). I also got the Fries and Drink combo that costed an extra $3. The dumplings were really good. Very juicy and could differentiate each flavor of each dumpling. They're a bit small, but for the price it's not bad at all. For the ramen, I had to switch mines with my cousin because originally she had ordered the same "Hell" base as mines but they gave her the "Tonkotsu" base instead, so I ate that one instead. We didn't tell them anything since I didn't mind trying it out, and since they just opened we give them a pass for that mistake. The Tonkotsu ramen was pretty good. Not the best, but not bad at all for the price. My cousin said the Hell base was good too, but it is not very spicy if you're a huge spice fan. Also, they serve everything to you via plastic instead of glass bowls and separated the noodles and the broth so we can mix it well ourselves. I am guessing that they want to operate in a fast food chain type of way instead of a restaurant type of way, which is okay with me. Overall, I'd give this place a chance. It's not a typical ramen restaurant, but it's something new in the West Bank that has nice aesthetics, quick service, and good food.

This was a great first experience and I definitely want to visit again to try other dumplings! My husband and I ordered: beef and onion traditional pan fried, steamed soup dumplings, and each got an order of mixed dumplings (chargrilled oyster, beef quesadilla, cajun shrimp, crab and cream cheese, kung pao chicken and pork and chive. The standouts: beef and onion, beef quesadilla and kung pao chicken. The disappointments: chargrilled oyster and crab. Everything else was very good! The soup in the soup dumpling could use a little more flavor and they needed bigger spoons to accommodate the soup dumplings. We tried all of the sauces and all were great!

Upon entry the ambiance was nice, It was lunch time so there wasn't a lot of ppl or noise. You have a choice to order your food and pay for it at the self serve kiosk. Or a server which was the option i chose. The food came out in an appropriate time. I ordered Shanghai soup dumplings. Which were pork dumplings that were suppose to have broth in them but they were bone dry. For my ramen i order Tom Yum with shrimp. The broth was very Mild the space level was suppose to be a 2 out of 10 but i didn't taste any spice. I did like the that the broth is separate from the ramen and proteins. I'm a light eater so I'm happy i don't have to reheat the noodles when i eat my left overs i can just reheat the broth and put the noodles in it. It was okay nothing to write home about,

Bro I thought I was getting real ramen, it's literally just instant ramen and random broth. Nothing is made fresh I paid almost 20$ for something I could made at home for half the price. Left feeling cheated tbh. I'll probably not visit again. I was so excited to have a ramen/ dumpling shop near me, only to be let down and taken advantage of.

Dumplings are already almost the perfect food, and this place is dumpling nirvana, joy served in little pouches of dough. We had: pork & chive, xiaolong-bao, oyster, chicken teriyaki, Philly cheesesteak, mac n cheese, and crawfish. Some we liked more than others, but they were all very good. Ended up ordering the combo that comes with fries, which initially seemed extra until the end of the meal when, dumplings demolished, used the fries to finish up the dipping sauces. Ambience nice, lots of wood, not too bright, or loud even though all tables were filled, music low. Service also good. We'll so be back.
