Lee's Hamburgers

I was lured in by the smell of sizzling beef as I was shopping in that area. I got a beautiful patty with cheese, dressed. Perfectly cooked medium. The shredded cheese was a little weird, but it worked. Flavor was all around, delicious. I'm so tired of paying close to $20 for a burger. This was just as good or better than most of them. Ambiance gets 1 , but I'll take them to go and enjoy at home. This is a fantastic deal at $7.50.

If I could give negative 5 I would I ordered a shrimp on bun dressed with ketchup it looks af if they dumped the ketchup container on the sandwich until the bread was wet

Lee's Hamburgers is an old school New Orleans burger joint and you might just ask how old is old school? Well Lee's Hamburgers have been famous for their burgers since 1901. The 122 years of Lee's Hamburgers (as of 2023) really lends some well recognized experience to making great food and you would typically have rather high expectations of a place with such a long history. I have eaten at multiple locations of Lee's Hamburgers over the years and sampled many of their menu items. For this review at this location we will focus on my specific order for this one visit where I had a cheeseburger with a side of onion rings and it was certainly some cheeseburger deliciousness. Lee's Hamburgers are distinctive from many other fast food type joints like this as they definitely have thicker meat on their burgers than most other fast food places you are likely to find. For this visit I would have to say while my burger was good I've had better in the past at this location and at other locations of Lee's Hamburgers. Place is dirty and the food was terrible. If you value your health I would probably stay away the bathroom soap dispenser was out so the had kitchen soap in a restaurant style ketchup bottle by the sink... service was meh if I could give a place negative stars this would be the place idk how the health dept hasn't shut it down.

This place is gross. There isn't a clean spot in it including the staff. It's disgusting and shouldn't be open. I'm sure eating the food is a health risk. It wouldn't take much to clean it up and train your staff of proper personal cleanliness. It's very sad as this location was a part of our past when the band members and students from nearby Haynes use to gather for afterschool and after practice snack. Dang shame.

If I could give NEGATIVE 10 I would! This place from the staff to the tables were dirty and filthy. Fruit flies all over the drink machine! Bugs crawling on the floor, and rat droppings eye level while trying to eat a PRE COOKED BURGER and soggy fries that clearly were re-dropped in the greaseNot sure how this place is even still open! Just DISGUSTING!It takes nothing to clean up especially when it's CLEARLY VISBLE Since I had to thrown my food away in disgust I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Effing joke. Services is horrible. Son and I went today, stood at the register for about 2 minutes while the worker looked at his phone. Didn't say a word to us, nothing. We left and will never be back. Close it down!

This place is a rip off. Do not order from this place. They advertise on Uber Eats buy one get one free on the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and they only sent out one. They are intentionally ripping people off and the food sucks too. By the way, on the Uber site they use the name South Philly Cheese Steak and Half Pounders but they're really Lees Hamburger on Metairie Road. There's a reason their reviews suck!

Stopped in at lunch on Saturday. Smelled like the old Lee's we remember but did not meet the expectations we had going in to the restaurant. Staff nice. Onion rings ok. Chili dog not normal. Hamburger with cheese and grilled onions just so so. Maybe they've expanded the menu too much. With tip and drinks $32. Not worth it.

The worse service of any eating establishment I've ever gone to‼‼‼‼‼The food is NEVER EVER EVER READY NEVER!!!! Now it's not like the place is packed‼‼‼ I hate these place it's also very dirty and disgusting‼
