Las Palmas

I like the outdoor patio at Las Palmas on Highland. The chili con carne sauce is really spicy and as I have learned about most Las Palmas restaurants it's not consistent. One time it's so spicy you can't eat it & the next it's really good. The service at Highland is always been good.

The service has always been great but lately the food is terrible. I can't even understand what has happened because when we moved here this was somewhere we would go often and they were consistently good. The Las Palmas beef nachos were flavorless. Just a pile of meat and under ripe tomatoes with lots of olives and jalapeño. Shredded cheese that was just a sprinkle. I couldn't even eat them and we ordered 2! I don't think I've ever given a Mexican restaurant a low rating but please listen and fix this. You're becoming outnumbered with all the options around this location and sadly I doubt I will try you again.

Great food, great space, decent service, terrible bar selection. No bourbon - the only whiskey they have is Jack Daniels and Dewars. Seriously??Friday night at 8:30 and the place is empty. Waiter seems unhappy at having to be here and is sitting at another (empty) table scrolling on her phone. But - the food is great. Las Palmas always hits it out of the park on the food! Hopefully this location will hang on.

This particular location, I didn't care for. I went here with some friends yesterday and we sat down for a good 10-15 mins and didn't not get served. Our waiter kept passing up our table. A couple walked in and got served right away as soon as they sat down, which I didn't like. Also toward the end of our service, two waitresses came up to it table and asked if us if were going to tip our waiter and we replied with a yes. We had already paid for our food and we were just sitting having conversation. Our intention was to tip the waiter after we finished talking and before we leave the restaurant and to me it felt like we were being rushed and pushed on whether or not we had plans in the first place to tip him. Overall the food was good but I just didn't like the idea of feeling rushed or questioned about tipping the service.

Tried it out for lunch and it was middle of the road. Had better and had worse. Sorta pricey but everything now is. Lol

Less than impressed. Good chips n dip (bean dip not bad), everything else seems like "fast food". The margs are below average. Will not go back.

Our sever was amazing but we were rushed the food was horrible and on TOP OF THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR A TIP I gave the waitress her tip in hand in cash and paid my bill with my card and today I wake up to a notification saying that they added the tip on ... I only tip in cash I don't not feel as tho the restaurant should get any part of the tip just the waitress from now on I will NEVER GO TO LAS PALMAS ON HIGHLAND R! I genuinely did not want to give them any stars . this place is actually a ZERO start rating will never recommend

i visited this restaurant this past week. Service was terrible! When I go eat anywhere I tip, mostly over tip. well this time I didn't. Well after looking at my Credit card statement, My Server took it upon herself to add her own tip! I will be notifying the manager. Watch Your Card Payments!

Just came through spent $30 on two large margaritas and they taste like dish detergent had to throw them out terrible

My husband and I have been here a few times, but we're now going to make this a regular thing. The food is always perfectly cooked, and the vegetables are especially fresh. Fajita meat tonight was as tender as I've ever had. And the margaritas were exquisite! I also can't say enough about our server, Jordan. He was an absolute joy throughout the experience. Looking forward to our next visit
