Torn on how to score this review. We are not locals and heard this place used to be good. We dined Saturday evening at 6:30. There was "live music". This was a draw and we envisioned a small band or guy with a guitar....Instead it was an older couple and machine of recorded songs, mostly him singing off key to country and 60s-70s songs. Entertaining enough I suppose. The buffet is the reason for the mediocre review. It was BAD. Somethings were cold and others sitting in coagulated sauce/grease, many bins empty and not refilled. Cold frozen and heated fried popcorn shrimp and fried fish bites. As for sides, even the waitress couldn't tell us what some items were by looking at them on the plate (meatless jambalaya? dirty rice? Looked more like haggis, see photo). With the exception of the crab cakes and baked fish, the rest was barely edible. Why was there no gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish, or even rolls on the buffet?While my husband had the buffet, I looked beforehand and opted out. Instead I had a pound of spicy boiled crawfish and a cup of chicken & sausage gumbo. Although small, the crawfish were very good, as was the gumbo...very tasty stock and meat (although no okra to be found). This came with a fresh, tasty roll. I would return for those items, about $9 and $6 respectively; but I would absolutely NOT recommend the buffet, at about $22. Our server was VERY attentive and friendly, no problems with service at all!

Quality of food is below Cajuns standards. Salad was missing, old food. Whole fried fish was good. Fried shrimp was very small. No fried pistolets. Hamburger, not sure what it was, not good. Gumbo is like no other. It does not hit my taste buds as goodWaitresses were friendly and efficient. Live music was ok.

A very disappointing visit to Landry's. Fish and shrimp were extremely greasy. I ended up removing the batter from both, it was that bad. This was my last stop there ever.

This place has some of the best food that I've ever eaten! A plus for taste and quality of food. I will be back.

If anyone want to try a little bit if everything Cajun, go on a Friday or Sat and eat the seafood buffet. You will not be disappointed. One of my favorite places to go. On Fridays, you can add a little more and will have boiled crabs on the buffet as well! Always great service!

Well finally made it for lunch. Buffet $14.95 with salad bar. Fried pork chops or meatball and spaghetti. No vegetables. They had sides like rice dressing and beans but nothing healthy. Did have some broccoli but it was covered in fake cheese sauce. Not good options for lunch, and expensive. Do not recommend.

I would drive 50 miles off I-10 to come here. Happened upon this place doing a job in the area and let's say 21.95 legit buffet plus 10 whole crabs.

In my opinion, they have the best fried shrimp I've ever had. They're always huge...consistently huge every time I've gotten them. The stuffed potato is top-notch, its large, filling and has such a good flavor. I decided to get the fried crab claws and they were super plump and filling. Just wish there were eggs on the salad bar that comes with the meal. Service was great, our waitress checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed.
