LaLaurie Mansion

My friends and I were interested in visiting this mansion due to its history. We did not do a ghost tour, so we didn't receive the back story. From what we heard, you are not supposed to take pictures of the home, so I did not upload an image. You can say it's a superstition that you bring the owner's energy back home with you. I am still determining how true this is, or maybe some people have experienced this. I am going to say this, if you are sensitive to energy, please do not walk next to the house or go under the balcony (doorway). I instantly got a really bad headache as I was standing by the door. I know it's not a coincidence, but as I started to walk away from the house, my headache started to go away.

If you take one of the Haunted History Tours, you should be able to see and walk by the haunted, infamous LaLaurie Mansion. Kind of wish there was a public tour available, but it makes sense that they don't because it's a private residence/privately owned.

We wanted to see this building since it was from American Horror story Coven TV show season. You can only look at the outside of the building. You can't go in the building since it's privately owned.

Beautiful house. I took a tour with a history professor from New Orleans university. I got a lot of confirmed facts. The house originally had 2 floors the Mrs. Dauphine lived there. The fire was behind the house on the kitchen were the slaves were located. 9 of 25 slaves were never located, and she died in France. Amazing story.
