The sushi was good. A bit pricey but I felt satisfied with the quality. The atmosphere was nice and our server was really great and funny. It is a sushi place I would come back to on special occasions.

Been looking for a good sushi place in New Orleans and well this is about my 4th place I have been. It is a neighborhood sushi and Asian food restaurant. The ambiance is real nice and the service was great. I came a little bit too close to closing, so was not able to try a lot of their dishes or sit by the aushi bar. They have a big selection of sushi rolls which we tried alien, soft shell crab and a triple salmon rolls. They were pretty good I would say, but since I like sashimi I would come back to check them out. Their miso soup was on point and their gyozas were better than the last place I went to. I do want to try other plates to see how their food compares to other sushi places. I believe that is a good family place and great for people that like sushi rolls. I will review when I come back for more dishes. Prices were pretty decent as well.

The food is amazing. The service is fast along with a friendly face. The ambiance is subtle, chilled, and relaxing.

The BEST SPOT IN NOLA for sushi. Always fresh and friendly service. Never ate anything here I didn't enjoy.

Today my girlfriend and I were looking for good sushi in the area and stopped in. We were one of two tables aside from table of two employees eating. It was 6:30pm dinner time just before most restaurants get their rush. We were sat right away and waited... 10 minutes into wondering if we were going to be served a female server finally walked over to our table. She scoffed and said she was eating. Then she gave us the most passive aggressive guilt trip about how it wasn't her job and how the bartender was suppose to take our table. We felt so guilted by this woman that we left. I have never been guilted by a server for being her empty restaurant business. We went else where and we are so happy we did. The place was empty and I know why.

Was feeling for some sushi as there's not many food options towards the east. I came in at a time where it wasn't busy, but when I left it was packed. They do check for vaccination cards (so don't whine and get angry because you don't keep some form of verification on you or unless you're an anti-vaxxer).The atmosphere was in between chill/casual. Our server was attentive, but not overbearing.I had the squid steak, tuna tataki, yaki soba, and a cowboy roll. My friend got the Don Bofuri and a roll I forgot. The squid steak was less in quantity than other places, but had a more unique taste (not necessarily a bad, but it stands out). The tuna tataki was yum. Yaki soba was the only disappointment unfortunately, it was very bland as if it was just cooked just to be cooked without any seasonings or flavor (I added soy sauce which kinda saved it, but I'd rather not have to do that). For the Cowboy roll, I usually don't order beef based sushi, but I was willing to try it and for what it was, I liked it.Overall, Lakeview Pearl was a bit average. It fulfills the craving need, instead of eating just to not be hungry. I wouldn't come here often if there are other options, but there seemed to be plenty of regulars here at least from my point of view.

Told me I can't sit down because I am black, HOW DISRESPECTFULL!!! Then proceeded to laugh in my face, and force me to use chopsticks and did not give me a fork. And finally kicked me out, and made me pay. TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT OMG ! The food tasted like toes and gorilla knuckles. THE AMBIENCE WAS VERY TERRIBLE, the lightning reminds me of a funeral home. It smells like blue razz vape and the bathrooms smell like shreks house. When I walked in, I automatically felt uninvited.

This food is either amazing or so incredibly fishy. It's so hit or miss. It's mostly the imitation crab that has a weird taste to it which doesn't make much sense because it's imitation crab...When the sushi isn't fishy, it's GOOOOOD but when it is, it is not pleasantI will say, their service is amazing. I've loved all my waitresses and waiters the times I've been.

Service was lacking! Went in to get sushi to take home for my kids. The waitress really didn't acknowledge me for quite a while but I waited patiently. She seemed a little confused that I wanted to place a to go order, not sure why. Anyway she gave me a menu and then said she would be back which took what felt like forever. I ordered an order of California rolls and one crab stick nigiri. After another while she brought it out. The cali rolls came in a small transparent plastic container and were so tiny. Like the size of quarters almost. The crab stick was also very small. It all looked like toy play food. My kids were like "what is this?" cuz it was all so tiny & made for a small meal. It was eaten in just a few minutes lol.
