Ok so I gave it another try. Thursday night they have a special steak night where you can get a 12 oz. rib eye with an au jou sauce, garlic bread, double mashed potatoes, and salad. My boyfriend got the tuna steak made medium rare with steamed vegetables, garlic bread, and salad. I must say they do well with their grilling and would come back again. The staff was very attentive and convinced us to have dessert which was a molten brownie cake with ice cream. The restaurant is talented with their grilling and the Thursday night steak night is work the the price!

Highly disappointed. We came to this place over the summer and it was amazing. Came today and we were highly disappointed. The salad had been frozen and thawed, leaving water on the plate. The blooming onion was amazing, leaving me hopeful for the seafood plate, but was let down once again. The crab cake seemed over its expiration date. The fish was bland. The saving grace was the shrimp and the sweet potato fries...oh and my margarita, the margarita was good too ;)

Great, affordable option for dinner on the water, or for lunch on the weekend! Excellent choice for stopping & docking when boating on the canal. Great inside and outside seating options, and a casual atmosphere. Delicious food with huge portion sizes! The seafood platter is humongous, with several sides and a variety of fried options. I haven't eaten it, but friends said it was delicious and they had leftovers, despite splitting the dish. The hamburger is a large, classic option; it's the next best choice to a back yard burger--thick and juicy. They have healthy options such as salmon and sweet potato fries too. They do have quite a few New Orlean's style dishes. The shrimp alfredo is delicious and creamy as well. Highly recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere and food quality. I always sit outside for a view of the water. The food is reliably good, served hot with large portions. They also take orders for pick up, usually ready in 10-15 minutes. Adults can order an alcoholic beverage to accompany your meal as you relax on the weekend! Make the drive or boat ride to try this!

We tried to go to lagniappe Friday night, Veterans Day ,after trying to call several times during the day. I had heard they don't answer their phone so we tried anyway. of course the restaurant was closed. it's a long ride down that road for nothing. It would be very smart to leave a message on the answering machine so that callers would know what's up. Don't think we'll be going on a wild goose chase again any time soon.

Don't know what happened but this place was great a couple years ago. Now it's filthy and not well maintained at all. Guess we will try again next summer.

Food isnt consistent. Good drinks, slow service and not always clean. Hill Top, kevins, saritas and Reds are better.

Just ate here with group of six. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. We had a pasta, and seafood dishes. We all thought the food was way too salty and just not good. I will not be eating here again.
