I can't recommend Lady B's Bakery enough for all of our family's special moments! We recently ordered an Elmo-themed cake for my daughter's 1st birthday party, and it was a hit! The design was adorable and perfectly captured the theme. But the best part is the taste! Everyone raved about how delicious it was. Lady B's Bakery truly knows how to make celebrations even more memorable with their beautiful and tasty creations. I sent a last minute custom cake request via email and Lady B immediately responded! She was able to whip up an amazing birthday + Mardi Gras 6" fondant cake within 2 weeks, without charging us a rush fee. She provided an itemized quote, and it was really easy to pay via QuickBooks. We had vanilla cake, strawberry frosting, and blackberry rosemary filling. She even added personalized icing that said "Happy 24th, Jacolyn!" We requested gold, green, purple, a mask, some fleur de lis, and some beaded necklaces--and she went above and beyond. She even gave us a free sparkler candle. She delivered the cake directly to our hotel promptly, even amidst all the backed up Mardi Gras traffic. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone in town!

Lady B's is the absolute best! She provided the best cake I have ever tried in my life. Let me start by saying she is the easiest and sweetest person to work with. She is so professional and kind. I asked if she could help make a custom cake for my sisters 40th birthday and it was so breathtaking. She delivered it to the location on time and the whole experience was seem less. I will attach pictures so you can see how gorgeous the cake is. I sent her pictures of what kind of look we were going for and it turned out so incredible. We wanted the cake to have flavors of my families culture, and she helped us come up with something so tasty. You want to go with Lady B, I can't recommend her enough!

Ok... if I could give 10 stars, I would!! I tried some of Lady B's Cake for the Culture jars recently and they knocked my socks off. My socks are probably on the moon at this point - that's how good these cakes were.The cake jars are a perfect size and the cake stays moist and flavorful. My favorite, hands down, was Shea Butter, the June flavor of the month. It was chocolate brownie cake, espresso ganache, sea salt peanut buttercream, and a caramel drizzle. All of the textures and flavors went together perfectly. A close second was the Melanin Chocolate (JUMP ON THIS). It is a rich chocolate cake layered with dark chocolate ganache and topped with salted caramel and toasted cocoa nibs.Honestly, there was not a single one I disliked. Support local during this time and get sweets from Lady B's!

Ordered a cake for my friend's 40th birthday celebration in NOLA. Ordering, communication, and delivery were great. The cake was beautiful and the cake itself (chocolate cake w/raspberry filling) was very good, but unfortunately we did not like the frosting. I asked when ordering what kind of buttercream she uses because I know people make different types. I was told it was sweet, but not overly sweet, and similar to that of Publix. It was not sweet at all and the texture was more stiff (similar to cold butter). I would be willing to try other items/flavors in the future. Note: I provided the topper.

I had the pleasure of ordering a cake from Lady B for my wife's birthday. I had no issues communicating with her and she even obliged me with a change in the pick up time... The cake looked great and tasted awesome! Highly recommended

Lady B delivered the perfect birthday cake for my mother in law's 70th birthday celebration. We were visiting New Orleans from Houston. The cake was scrumptious, not overly sweet, you could taste EVERY ingredient. My husband is a gourmet Chef and he gave it 5 . Brava! Thank you for making this day extra special!
