I don't have words for how good these were. Giant pieces of bacon/pork belly/chicharrones. Run, don't walk to get these!!!
Steak quesadillas. Deelicious. You can see how stuffed full it is.

My husband and his coworkers love this place! They go at least once a week and they know their orders and super friendly! They're a lot of other options if you don't feel like Mexican! There's a pasta that is delicious, it's a must try!

I loved it! Co-workers raved about it, so I went. The grocery attached is fun and amazing. So many cool things. A whole butcher inside. I got probably the best cracklings/ chicharrones I've ever had. It's basically like a chunk of bacon. Cheap too! Food is amazing. Added to favorites!!!

An authentic dive attached to a grocery store/market, in a shopping center off Siegen Lane. The only thing that wasn't "5 stars" for me was the queso. I guess I'm used to the more Americanized dips--this queso was literally queso (cheese) melted and served in a sizzling fajita skillet. I didn't dislike it, but for me, it was kind of bland. Plus, you'll want to eat it as quickly as possible before it firms up and you can't dip it anymore. But, not too quickly or you will lose some taste buds. Aside from the queso, I went the Honduran route for my meal, ordering three things that I thought would be MUCH smaller since they were quite inexpensive. Having eaten my fill of chips, queso, and salsa (which had quite the kick), I was only able to finish one of the three items I ordered--the tortilla con quesillo. I also ordered a cheese pupusa and a tamal hondureño. I could have made a meal from the tamale alone. It was wrapped in a leaf and filled with pork, green peas, and I believe rice and potatoes. Everything was made fresh to order and served "surface of the sun"-hot. In addition to what I ordered (plus the queso), my daughter had a steak burrito and a barbacoa gordita. With tip, it was under $40, and we brought probably half of it home. The server was friendly. I had only been here once quite some time ago, but I hope to return soon and more often!

Wished I had come here sooner because the food here is PRETTY DARN GOOD!-The barbocoa and lengua taco were juicy, tender, and mouth-watering! -The baledas was awesome, too. What is a baledas? It's an American-style soft taco slathered in refried black beans and a bit of white farmers' cheese, then folded over. -And lastly, the pupusas was the best one I've ever had in my life. Pupusas are thick corn tortillas that can be stuffed with various fillings, including various meats, refried beans, cheese, and even squash flowers.Overall, you gotta come here! And I'll definitely be coming back!

One of my favorite places to eat in BR whenever I'm in town. You know a Mexican restaurants gonna be good if it's connected to a grocery store. This place is super affordable and very authentic! We come and get their burrito and flauta Everytime. The service is normal, nothing amazing, but great for a quick lunch bite. This place is never super busy, usually only maybe 4 or 5 other parties during lunch. Highly recommend!

Food is fantastic. Went searching for breakfast tacos one Saturday morning and ended up here. I keep coming back. The breakfast is to die for. Ham and eggs served with warm tortillas and the best rice and beans, the chilaquiles are to die for. Fajitas are fantastic. Really is such a hidden gem in BR.

As you can see from the menu, this place caters to their namesake. There are plenty of dishes and meats to choose from. We tried to get as many entree and meat combinations as we could so we could get a feel for everything. We ordered the items below:Taco - pastor - cesina - barbacoaTamale - chicken - porkGordita - cesinaQuesadilla - carne asadaEverything we ordered (above) was good. The only meat complaints would be the pork in the tamales. A few fatty pieces which were unappetizing. Also, the carne asada had a little more fat than expected. They included three different salsas, two green and one red, which gave the food the kick we wanted. The chip salsa, however, wasn't as good as most. We would definitely go back.

We visited at 10am on 09.02.24.Service was good. Latin music in the background. Complimentary freshly fried tortilla chips and fresh salsa. We ordered chicharrones pupusa, asada tostadas, and barbacoa Baleadas. Pupusa needed a bit more stuffing. Asada was juicy. Baleadas was not oily and stuffed with barbacoa. Food came out fresh and hot. Everything was a bit under seasoned for my liking but the green sauce and red sauce did its job. I would suggest to throw in some limes to add additional freshness. Priced at about $25 for my wife and I. I would return again.3.8 out of 5

Food and service were good. Better tacos exist in the area, los compadres is hard to beat, but this is a good backup. In a strip mall so parking can be a chore but definitely worth the trip
