I have eaten here several times the food is out standing 5 star service. This is on grounds of old plantation it beautiful inside and outside the restaurant. You can choose from 2 dining experience at La Peite's or in the Houmas House plantation but that is a different experience. The food is elevated and the prices but worth it on special occasion

This place is amazing. Beautiful, full of southern charm. Everything you want in a plantation dining experience. I'd go here again and again. And if you go to the restaurant, they'll let you walk the grounds which are gorgeous. The dining room is amazing. The food is delicious. My only Negative about this place was the time that it took to get your food. Other than that, it was awesome.

LOVED the food and the decor! Though the front young lady could definitely improve her attitude (very bored and always had a grumpy face). Quite a startling contrast to all the other employees who were so friendly!! There are also turkeys strolling outside! All the dishes we had were so BIG. As college students, that's definitely a treat! The highlights were the fried bread with penne dish and the fresh bread given at the beginning. I do have to say the risotto was quite bland....

Very nice atmosphere. The convenience of eating after seeing the houmas house was very nice. Unfortunately I could make the meal better -which is saying a lot because I am no cook. I had the orleans pasta with shrimp and unfortunately the shrimp tasted like the sea in a bad way. The Alfredo sauce was bland. The tomatoes and peas were no additions to rave about. Maybe it was poor ordering but for around 20$ any food on the menu should be to a level that is more than just edible.

Peaceful atmosphere and good food!La Petite Houmas House Restaurant is on the same grounds as the Houmas House Planation and totally worth the hour drive from NOLA. We enjoyed Sunday brunch and then walked the gardens to work off some of the calories consumed and took the tour of the house. This made for the perfect day trip! In addition to the beautiful landscape, brunch was delicious. You had a choice to order off the menu or enjoy the buffet. We all opted for the buffet because you could smell it right when you walked in and we couldn't pass it up. The curried pumpkin and crawfish and corn bisque is a must try.If you are looking for a day trip outside the city I highly suggest touring the Houmas House and eating at the La Petite Restaurant!

Here is an amazing Plantation home with wonderful ambience. Came to see the plantation. Discovered this restaurant and thought let's try it. Glad we did. Better suited to grown ups than kids. But it is a fair price for quite tatty fare. Son 1 got the seafood penne. Wife got these crepes with seafood in it. Pretty impressive. I got a burger and it was quite good.

Excellent ambience, amazing food. We were the only ones in the dining room so we were able to take pictures, it had great historic decor. Order the short ribs and grits, you won't be disappointed. The roasted chicken was very good, moist with a lot of flavor. I would definitely go back again.

Enjoyed a delicious group meal here. For Sunday brunch they offer a buffet or menu items. The buffet has a variety of unique options. I chose to order a starter of fried eggplant with jumbo lump crabmeat and saffron cream sauce. It was very delicious. To get to the restaurant you get to wander through the gardens which are gorgeous. One thing is the brunch had a sign outside called cafe burnside with a menu for when it's lunch. This was confusing for people trying to find the le petite brunch. They should have a sign outside letting you know where brunch is.There was a small crowd when we were there. We had excellent service. The prices are high but the food quality is excellent.

Pretty good food, but not what I expected at all. I had the rosemary chicken which has always been a fairly healthy choice at any other restaurant I've ordered it from, but WAY too creamy and fatty at this place. The atmosphere and service were awesome though.
