What a cute spot for causal but very special dessert. It gives the illusion of being a simple ice cream shop until you look at the menu and realize you've entered dessert snack heaven. I've never experienced anything like La Michoacána! The sheer overwhelm of wanting to try everything was exhilarating. I had to look at the instagram page to see which item stood out to me visually because looking at the menu was too much. I ordered the La Mangona Supreme because my greedy self also wanted to try a paleta. Service was so friendly and quick and my treat was made so beautifully that I didn't want to eat it but it would start to drip if I didn't act quickly. Luckily I arrived right before the Sunday evening rush. It was great seeing all the families enjoy their treats. Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience and I can't wait to go back and try the waffle cone ice cream thingy.

I love this place! The bachata music that they play makes me feel at home. My favorites are the cinnamon churros. I also like the bubble waffles and banana split. There are many flavors to choose from and there are a few non-dairy options as well. They give large scoops. There is a points system here and one can get a free mangonada once they reach a certain number. Service: The workers that I have encountered are nice.

So the first thing that caught my attention was the music playing. When I saw they served ice cream, I stopped in with my nephew. It was pretty hot out so why not! When I went inside and saw much more that ice cream and the young man that helped us (sorry I forgot his name) got us our ice cream right away. It too a little while for the Churro, but I understood and they tasted great!

First time in because I follow them on Instagram snd I was very curious. I took my youngest son and it's like a modern sweet shop. I ordered the Tosti-Elote and he had a superman ice cream with a dipped waffle cone..it was superb butttttt... the waffle cone had hints of cleaner on it. Not sure if it was sprayed by accident or if they didn't wipe the cleaner off of the waffle iron (they make their own cones). I would still go back and try some of their other items.

I'm obsessed with paletas! Like could eat them every single day and still not get sick of them. So naturally, when my brother told me he lives near a Michoacana, we had to go both days of my trip.On day one I had the Pistachio paleta. Yum!! Not too sweet with great, fresh nutty pistachio flavor. Really enjoyed it! The second day I had the Coconut paleta. I think I've been spoiled by all of the truly great coconut paletas I've had before because this one didn't have the wow factor. It has fresh coconut and was still good, but not as creamy and rich as many of the other ones I have had. The Strawberry Cheesecake flavor was rich and creamy and fun though! Depending on the time of day, the line can be super long. It would be nice if they had a separate line just for paletas because we ended up waiting 20 minutes to quickly grab paletas because many families were getting crazy ice creams and the cashier was just standing waiting. But anyways, love that there are paletas here and I would obviously come again! Have just had better paletas at other michoacanas.

If you have a late night sweet tooth craving, La Michoacána is your spot! I wanted something warm and sweet and after a few searches I landed on this gem. La Michoacána is open until 10:00 pm seven days a week, which is pretty late for a sweet shop, but perfect for those after dinner dessert needs. It's pretty popular, so be prepared for a wait when you go. There's a large variety of ice cream selections as well as popsicles, milkshakes, and other confections. Personally, I opted for the mini churro sundae. The churros were hot and fresh, the ice cream was perfect and the caramel drizzle and whipped cream properly set this treat off. I won't tell y'all how quickly I devoured this treat, just know that I'm going back for seconds.

The bubble waffles were delicious. Doesn't seem like the server spoke English very well but thank goodness they had lots of pics to help you decide what you want.I do find it was a little overpriced.
