This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the Westbank (best bank). The service is always friendly, accurate and prompt. The food is always consistently great, huge portions and reasonably priced. There is always enough leftovers for lunch the next day. If I have to make a complaint, it would have to be that the portion of lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream is very small in proportion to the grilled fajitas that I always order. This is a small error that could easily be corrected if the owners/management would glance at the dinners going out on the floor.

Meh, the food is good, the service is decent... as a picky California native eating Mexican food in New Orleans I give them a hard pass for most things.This burrito though cannot stand For $13 I got this pathetic chimichanga When I asked why my dinner was tiny the waitress replied "because we fold it"

8/21. I've eaten here 4 or 5 times, with results of 3 to 4 stars. The spicy burrito with chili con carne on top is delicious. The jalapeños poppers are really good. Their guacamole is pretty good too. More recently, I did a take out for a few ítems. Their caesar salad was awesome, with avocado. I had Their enchiladas which are kind of tasty, too. Beans and rice ...average..Here's what I had a problem with. Their picadillo, or hamburger as the server said, is not good. They use it in tacos, and burritos, and enchiladas and the times I've had it its not good. Here's why: its over salted and underseasoned. Its probably made in bulk and reheated as needed. Looked too dark, and the consistency is mushy. It should have garlic, onion, chili's, and cumin, and you can't taste any of that. Just salt. It's a nice place, friendly servers. More attention needs to be paid to the seasoning of food this is supposed to be.

Love the ambiance and the food is good not great, but good enough for a casual comfortable place, and enjoy a good margarita, chips and salsa. Plenty of parking, friendly service. However, the last time we were there in May--noticed two payment discrepancies a couple of days later on my bank transactions. At the time--I used my debit card (charges were correct at the time), I signed a merchant receipt (kept my copy) and left a 35% cash tip. My original purchase was higher and there was an added tip. I contacted the restaurant and email the restaurant to correct the overages and no one got back. So, pay with cash or avoid Marissa as your server. Not cool.

Pretty generic as expected typical Mexican fare. The food was on the more bland side and the salsa was more sweet with no spice. The service was alright and they kept the drinks full. They have a large parking lot and that's about all there is to say.

Excellent food. I had the steak enchiladas and they were tasty and tender. Everything on my plate was fresh. The chips and salsa were very tasty and came warm from the kitchen. The service was fast and friendly. Restaurant overall was very clean. I would come back here without a doubt.

We've been coming here once a month for a while. The food was awesome and has slowly gotten worse. Beans and margaritas way too salty. The service is okay but not great. Last visit, some people were done with their food before others had even received theirs. I like that we can find an area to accommodate us but the food just isn't worth it anymore.

Final Straw Longtime customer (+10 yrs) and originally stopped going when,several times, they actually added to my credit card tip which was already 20%. Recently returned and tonight wait staff changed tv channel at bar, we were the only customers at the bar, without asking our preference, as I was watching tv. She put on mexican rap music for her non-customer boyfriend and their 2 infant children after changing a stinky diaper. Lesson to restaurant/bars - the tv is for the paying customers. And much better mexican food at 100 other places. Bye-bye forever
