La Chula

Wow. This place is always packed and with good reason. The food is great and the portions are huge! If you love getting way too much good food and leaving a restaurant feeling extremely full - this is your place!!! They also have a crazy happy hour with 2 for 1 drinks including gigantic margaritas! Woo!

I just ordered a burrito (carne asada) it is horrible for a $20 burrito. I live in California and I know what good burritos should taste like and this isn't it. Everything about it was wrong. It clearly was a knock off of what would be a clearly bad Replica likely created from a picture.

I do not recommend this place whatsoever!Terrible and rude service.After we got our food, the waitress didn't even bother to check on us to see if everything was OK she only came to give us the ticket.The food wasn't a big deal either, Rice tasted like it wasn't cooked at all, we got dirty silverware and dirty glasses.I was not happy with the place at all. I will never go back....!!!Next time I want to eat Mexican, I will go to Avocados.

Rachel made my first visit to the Lachula made a great impression! I'm very particular about my margaritas and she nailed it the first time. The food was hot delicious and very affordable. Three of us ordered two of the fajita entrées and we all walked out stuffed. I moved here from California and I have not found Mexican food here that has been as enjoyable as this meal was. I'm so glad they're local! I will be back. Thank you very much Rachel.

I'm hard to please and have a refined palate. To me, it tasted like they doctored up Hormel chile for the big burrito. The tiny amount of homemade guacamole served in a to go container was a $1.00 and tasted on par to wholly guacamole in its smoothness and flavor. I wished for cilantro, or chives on top of the massive burrito. The food 2.5 stars. Plus I couldn't stand a fly that kept swarming around my plate in the over air conditioned covered patio. Service 5 stars Luis was Very nice, helpful, and poured me a great Dos equips amber in a chilled mug with an added fresh lime. They also turned the meat locker coldness off for me just bc I was cold. Maybe next time I'll go for the carnitas. I didn't know it was $1 taco night I found that out later during my order. When I asked about the happy hour specials, my server could have thrown that in there as far as what was going on. This is my 3rd time here, 1st review of La Chula. They still apparently beat out Avocados directly across the street according to a good friend of mine.

The food was horrible! My boyfriend and I are sick with food poisoning. He had the Quesabirria tacos, refried beans and a beef taco. I had El Tapatio #58 and the flauta plus chimichanga, I paid extra for steak and it was rancid. It tasted nasty. I would never eat at this dingy, needs serious cleaning and another visit from the Health Inspector.

Food was good and worth the wait. As other reviews mention, the wait for our entrees was longer than expected but our server was very attentive with chips and drinks, so we didn't mind. Flavors of fajitas were great.

Asked for a shrimp burrito and they gave my 27 year old boyfriend the wrong burrito with beef then came back with a dry tortilla with a couple pieces of shrimp thrown on it. She said he needed to tell her exactly what he wanted on the burrito and snapped back attitude. Asked anyone and they tell you cheese tomato's lettuce onions peppers whatever goes on a burrito they only ask what do you NOT want on it. Not just meat goes on a burrito. This place should be so ashamed of themselves. Then proceeded to make him pay full price for everything.

families with children in the bar area, horrid salsa, guacamole from a can, nothing Mexican about the place. actually if i could have rated a negative i would.
