The salsa was bland however the Fajita Trio with rice and beans were good. I'm a Texan, and I have not had many good much less great TexMex experiences outside of Texas. The portion is excellent. It will feed me for 2 more meals. The atmosphere is great, the service from Roberto was top notch. The salsa could use some spicing up, IMHO. Great place all in all!

We haven't been here in a while. So we decided to give it another try. What a delicious lunch we had today. Our server was great and our food came out quick and very hot. Also the restaurant was very nice.

The beans and guacamole were amazing! Ambiance was lovely! Highly recommend! The service was great!

Stopped on our way to go to LSU. OMG the food was amazing! We live on the east coast and this by far was the best Mexican meal we've ever had. We plan on making La Carreta a tradition when we visit again.

My husband and our family have come to eat here since the day it opened. The restaurant is always very clean and the service never disappoints. We love the food, especially the ribeye and charro beans! The portions are perfect, which makes for an order of charro beans to take home for later. The prices have gone up quite a bit on the menu but so has everywhere's else. The ambiance gives a traditional Cantina vibe to go with the experience.

The best! Affordable and solid cuisine. Always hits the spot. For me, tacos are the way to go... accompanied by a nice frozen margarita. I love the frozen mango -- sweet and smooth! Best margaritas!

This is an appetizer for under 10.00 dollars and it's amazingDefinitely going back !

Consistently good food. My only concern is that the salsa is not made on site, so you cannot get it without cilantro.

It's OK. Not great service and not fantastic food. Very mediocre. Probably will not go back anytime soon.
