This place is amazing. Great crawfish, great prices, great people. I love going, and I was on the fence because of the reviews, but they are all old reviews so I thought I'd make a good one for people like me.

The staff here is friendly even when in the midst of a dinner rush. The crawfish that I got were HUGE. I'm 6'3" and they were as big as my hand (see pic)! They weren't quite as spicy as I usually like but very enjoyable. They were hot and fresh and as usual, went great with a daiquiri.

This review is for the location on Florida Blvd. because it does not have its own page. I was craving some crawfish because I no longer live in Louisiana so I went to the LA Boilers Boilers I got 10 pounds of crawfish and corn and potatoes. As soon as my father and I tasted the crawfish, we knew that it was imported frozen from overseas and not 100% Louisiana crawfish. The crawfish tails were tough, dry, and overly salty. The claws were rubbery. So gross, we couldn't even finish them and threw them away. $50 wasted. The corn was the only good thing we bought. The cashier also had previously hung up on me when I asked about the crawfish and gave horrible service. This is a shame bc the location on Perkins is great and the employees are very friendly. Could the difference in service be due to the clientele (black neighborhood vs white neighborhood?) Overall very disappointed. I'll drive to the Perkins location next time.

I got 10 pounds of boiled crawfish and a bag of corn. last weekend. It was my first time here. About 5 pounds tasted great. The other 5 pounds was inedible. They were rubbery and the shells squishy. After eating a few, I could tell which ones tasted bad just by the condition of the shell. I'm not very picky about my crawfish but if I can't even eat them, then something is wrong. It tasted as if some were previously frozen and recooked....not sure what happened though. 2 stars for the corn that was delicious and half of the crawfish tasting good.

Went here the day after easter because I wanted some crawfish (my family doesn't do crawfish for easter) and it was the closest place to my work that was open that wasn't a full blown restaurant. (I don't like going to the restaurant for crawfish because it is usually $1 higher than specialty shops and overcooked). The price was fair and on average with others in the market. It was a quick in and out transaction, but I was a bit disappointed that the 2 tables that were for eating in were taken up by the employees children. Overall I would consider them if I needed seafood again, but will only plan on stopping by if I can take it and run.

The seafood is inconsistent (sometimes it's really good, other times it's just okay) but I love the drive thru and I always get great service. I prefer blue crabs from there when in season but again, the quality and taste is inconsistent. They also have shrimp, potatoes, corn, turkey necks, and sausage.

They always have the best seafood!! love getting the crabs and crawfish & super friendly staff!

Great customer service. You are in and out not too much of a wait time. Shrimp and crawfish are very good and the prices are good would recommend 10/10

On Sunday at 1:45. We went through the drive thru and Ordered 7 pounds. I can't recall the exact price but around $6.00 a pound. 3/4 of them were left overs From yesterday and we ended up throwing most away I am very disappointed on the quality today Have been a regular customer of buying live and boiled seafood for 20 years.

awesome boiled crabs & shrimp. always consistent & very nice & accommodating customer service. they packed my food up for travel & gave me ice. I've been a customer there for years & it's always really good.
