This shop was okay- it's located in a busy area near French Market. The employee was quiet behind the desk and didn't really greet anybody. A good selection of band and musician tshirts. The items are priced pretty high though; not sure if the value is worth it

i ordered a Christian Death tee shirt from them and it never arrived. they claim that it was delivered, it was not. i guess they really needed the 36 dollars. anyway it might be harder for them to steal from you at the actual store, but i would not recommend buying anything from them online.

Such an amazing selection of rock/metal shirts and other memorabilia, all fairly priced. Well organized and the owner was helpful and nice. Not sure why so many people have complaints. Too sensitive.

WOW! Kulture Vulture in the French Quarter is a must go-to store while visiting NOLA. They have tons tons tons of band shirts, and you won't be disappointed at all...very phenomenal collection!!! There are tons of other merch and accessories like patches and pins too so your wallet is going to hurt but well worth it. I lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco and Kulture Vulture reminds me of the old school stores on Haight Street, Melrose Avenue and Hollywood Blvd. This place has a wicked cool music vibe for all music fans of punk, goth, heavy metal and other music genre. The owner is hella awesome and knows his music so stop by this store while you are in town!!!

Best selection of band shirts I've ever seen, and patches, and the prices are very reasonable, can't give it 5 stars though, the dude working at the place, acted like we were putting him out, by walking in, it was off-putting.Still, I luved the shirts, spent around 200$ and was quite happy with the quality, and what I got for the money.

Even though the store has a really cool selection of shirts, the person who was working in there, I guess it's the owner, has all of the personality of a door knob. Multiple times I said hello and commented on the store, and he just looked at me and nodded and walked away. No matter how cool your story is, if you're going to be a dick to your customers, word will get around. Save your money and your time and don't go here.

Person working incredibly rude, condescending, and questionable responses to inquiries about merch. Bullying paying customers about merch and bands is bad enough, pulling information out of seemingly nowhere to justify condescension is the cherry on top of a bad experience - clearly I was underestimated in my knowledge of bands. I was nice and respectful anyway because I know the most insecure can be the most vile... plus, I don't feel the need to put others down and spread possible misinformation to make myself feel better. However, I would caution against visiting this store unless you have the bandwidth to deal with disrespect, and the critical thinking to question details of items. This is the only negative review I have published... I don't like to write negative things, but I feel the need to warn others.

Completely and utterly confused on how this store has been open for 20 years. The owner bullied my friends and I out of the store by muttering rude comments about us just loud enough for us to hear. He acted like half the bands are underground. Hate to break it you but Metallica, Slayer, and Danzig are not that y. Acting like a high schooler at has grown age. It's really a shame because I was going to spend here but ehh I'd rather not.

I have never been treated so rudely, as I was in this store. All I did was cross the threshold with a polar pop, that had a lid on it.I was told, in a catty and shrill voice," You can't come here in with drinks! This isn't Wal-Mart ya know?!?!?!"I understand the no beverage thing. They probably have had several drunken tourists come through there and spill things. Why the cattiness/meanness? It was totally uncalled for. For the record, all I had in my polar pop was diet coke (no liquor whatsoever) and I hadn't been drinking. This happened on a Wednesday afternoon at 1:30. I was just a local (at the time, lived in NOLA for 13 years)out for a pleasant day of French Quarter shopping to find a birthday present for my sister. I didn't think I would run into such rudeness from a shopkeeper. Rudeness is not a good look for the city of NOLA, which depends so much on tourist dollars. Do better Kulture Vulture.

The owner was so salty and rude for no reason. This guy really must hate his job and/or life. He was sullen the entire time we browsed and completely unfriendly during check out. The store boasts being a must for music fans, but it's just a bunch of t-shirts and wallets. I did buy a t-shirt, but disappointed in the lack of music my partner and I asked if there were any rock/metal music shops around. He scoffed and said "Does such a thing EXIST? That would really be something." ... yes, such a thing does exist and we've been to many all over this country and others. What a very small-minded thing to say. Anyway, this place is very skippable and there are so much cooler shops to buy t-shirts around, with much friendlier merchants who appreciated our business.
