This is a family parade in the suburbs of New Orleans. Do not expose anything, as you will be arrested and detained by the police, and at this point in the festival, you will likely not get out of jail until after Fat Tuesday, and you will miss out on the celebrations. This year (2018), this Mardi Gras parade was the Friday of the weekend before Fat Tuesday. It was fairly short (19 floats), but the bands were awesome. The people on the floats seemed only interested in only looking for their own people to pass beads and throws to. The section I was in barely got any beads, but while walking to my car, I noticed people just loaded down with beads. It seemed kind of unfair. But, the floats were beautiful. I loved the bands and the dance teams.A few websites for them and when they run are as follows.https://kreweofcenturions.comhttps://kreweofcenturions.com/pages/2017-paradehttp://www.mardigrasneworleans.com/schedule/parade-info/parades-centurions.htmlhttps://www.facebook.com/KreweofCenturions/

Worst throw parade I have been to in quite some time. Most riders were standing around or filming the crowd. We were on severn and some of the floats would throw to each other over the crowd, ingnoring the crowd completely. Supposedly their special throw was hand decorated swords. Never saw 1 sword, much less any hand decorated swords. Never attending this parade again.
