I'm a fan of the shrimp tempura appetizer. I am also a fan of the Chicken Tempura meal, as long as it it prepared the same way as the app. On my last visit it wasn't. It was a chicken barest, cut in half and friend. Didn't appear to be tempura at all. Our waiter was kind enough to take it back and have it fixed the usual way. I was very pleased! The hibachi rice is also delicious! The drinks are good and service is pretty fast. Also the salad and soup are great additions to your meal. All together it makes for a nice time out, The staff and owner are very friendly and seem to aim to please.

Kirin is really good, anything I go there I love to get calamari and kirin's calamari is some of the best I've had in the Hammond area. Their sushi is also pretty great, service is mostly good and the wait time is not too long.

Idk why I thought it was a good idea to order sashimi in Hammond. I clearly was not a serious person. As you may have guessed it, it was a bad idea. The fish was not fresh. I enjoyed the sake, the service and the company. Our waiter was pretty awesome. He actually warmed up the sashimi for me and it was palatable.

Great hibachi chef. That's all I have that's nice to say, and Im really trying to think of something. Drove an hour to eat here for a special occasion and luckily the hibachi chef saved the night. We were told to sit at the hibachi table, I guess we sat in the wrong seats- (literally no idea why it's a problem considering it was just a seating arrangement? The same amount of people were sat... I understand seating arrangements for efficiency but we arrived at 6pm and all 4 tables were sat with incomplete tables. So.... idk.) Won't be back, even though my boyfriend and his kid had a blast for our first real dinner outing as a family. Bald girl is totally an ass.

I order here quite frequently and am always pleased. never had dine in but togo is always exceptional. Food is good. Although, I ordered a filet mignon roll today and expected steak but instead of any form of steak whether filet mignon or not, this roll is topped with ground meat. It literally tastes like hamburger and is very unappetizing.
