Keith Noonan Salon

This is my go-to salon in New Orleans where I know I will never be disappointed or have a bad experience. The staff is professional and extremely nice, and the products, the atmosphere - just the whole salon - feels first class. I see Trang for my color, and she is wonderful. When she was unavailable recently, I saw Jamie, who colored my hair exactly like the picture I brought in. Couldn't be happier. I've bounced around for who does my cut, but just had Courtney, who did a fantastic job. She's also incredibly sweet. Prices are worth the results.

Matthew was so friendly and did an amazing job on my color! He was very attentive during the consultation and throughout the service. This was my first visit to the salon and he was so welcoming. It has been around 5 years since my last hair color! You can imagine that I was a little nervous/excited but Matthew was skilled and confident yet has a very warm personality. I will definitely be back to see Matthew!

I just moved to Kenner a few months ago took forever to find a good salon. Instead I found an amazing salon. Abby is outstanding she knew exactly the cut and style I wanted it the third time I've gone to her and I will be going to her for a long time to come!!!

When you move to a new city, finding another colorist can be a nightmare. I hit the jackpot with Matthew. Yesterday was my second appointment with him and my color looks fantastic. I'm a brunette with very soft, natural highlights. He gets the color on point, no brassiness or redness. This time, I sat in the chair and just said "do what you do". Keith Noonan, you have quite a gem there!

Excellent! So friendly attentive! Matthew is a wonderful colorist!We were given punctual service, he suggested great products for our type of hair and could not have been any nicer.

As my regular hairdresser has retired I tried this salon as its local.Madison was my stylist and such a charming young lady.Love the cut,colour and price.They have definetly got a new client.

I came in from out of town to get my colored treated hair washed and styled for my event. Emma was fun to talk to and listened to what I needed. The girls in the salon were all so friendly, they made me feel very welcomed! My hair looked amazing and I was able to wear the same hairdo for two nights.

I highly recommend Stephanie for color! She has colored my hair several times, and I've never been disappointed. She seems to always know what I am thinking even though I'm terrible at clearly describing what I envision. Be prepared to spend a couple hours there, but it's completely worth it. You even get a complimentary hand massage.

They allowed a new graduate to cut my hair. She was very sweet but took too long and did a poor job. The owner didn't offer to fix it for me or comp the cost of the cut. Just disappointed.

Warning: Be sure to ask how much they charge for each procedure when you call. I was appalled to find out that 3/4 highlights cost $145 -- in N.O.?! I only asked for half-highlights, and the colorist didn't tell me she was doing a much more expensive treatment.I've never paid that much for my hair -- even in Rome, where I lived for many years. I paid a fraction of that when I lived in Washington, DC for equal quality.They do a great job, but you'll pay the highest rates in NOLA if you don't ask when you make an appointment how much your particular stylist/colorist costs.It seems they automatically assign new customers to their most expensive colorist. That's not just my guess, and I don't want to specify how I know, but it's what they do. For that reason alone, I won't go back. There are too many good salons in NOLA to do business with people who behave that way. They offered to reduce the price, but only after I expressed outrage and told them I wouldn't be back. Too late. I'll bring my business elsewhere. I'd expect people to behave like this in NYC, L.A. or Rome, but not in my hometown.
