Kajun Kidd Burgers & Wings Restaurant

Finally had the opportunity to visit Kajun Kidd. Missed them from Laplace. Our food tasted impeccable and we are ecstatic he is thriving in Thibodaux. We had the down the bayou drinks, sweet heat and lemon pepper wings, spinach dip with pita bread, and crab cake rice which is my favorite! Can't wait to try brunch one day. Love this black owned business.

The service had to be the slowest I have ever witnessed. We sat at our table for close to 45 minutes without even being served our drinks. After 77 minutes waiting, we finally got our food. The wings were good, but nothing special. The hamburger was pitiful. The fried rice was ok, I just didn't care for it. I had high hopes based on past reviews, but wow this placed missed the mark.

Social media got me here and it was well worth the drive.Walked in and was helped by the sweetest waitress who was working the front alone (not many tables when we got there) The food- it took a minute but it's cook to order. The burger was cooked perfectly and so were the wings. I liked the spin of the full burger patty on some buttered Hawaiian rolls and not a slider concept. My hubs said it was one of the best burgers he has had so far. Drive here and try it asap!

This place is outstanding! The wings have a nice crispness to them too. The burger is cooked beautifully. The Young money has great flavors that come together with all the toppings. That sweet Hawaiian roll takes it to another level. Those fried wontons taste like a crawfish boil in a wonton. Give this place a try!

Definitely one of my go-tos in Thibodaux. I've visited this place a few times and it seems pretty consistent. They have a cute, small dining room area & even a photo wall. I've tried the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air burger, crawfish Mac & cheese, crab cake fried rice, red beans & rice, spinach & artichoke dip, Mardi Gras mambo fish tacos, habanero crown peach wings, down the bayou & Kajun creek lemonades Pros: The burgers come with a thick patty that leave you stuffed!! I love the spinach and artichoke dip, it is creamy and not skimpy on artichokes or spinach. The crawfish Mac & cheese was flavorful with a very small kick (but I like spice). The red beans were nice and creamy. The flavor of the wings and the tacos were good. The lemonades were refreshing and good. Cons: Be prepared to wait because most items are to made-to-order. The burger could have used a little bit more seasoning to the patty, but overall flavor balanced out well. The wings were very lightly sauced. The crab cake fried rice was a little too sweet in myopinion. The tacos don't come with a side.Also, go there early for the special cheesecake of the week because it sells out!!

Food was amazing, Service was excellent, and the overall environment was a retro experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.I ordered a Big Daddy Parker which was an extremely tasty blend of zing and sweet habanero sauce on chicken with bacon and a house made slaw on a Hawaiian bun. The Loaded Tots were delicious and they were gone within 2 minutes. The Kajun Creek was the perfect combo drink and I absorbed that before I even finished my sandwich. Throughly enjoyable! Definitely will be coming back to this spot.

As a Thibodaux native, I'm happy we finally have a restaurant that offers seasoned, well cooked food. It brings joy to my little heart.The food was phenomenal compared to anything I've reviewed so far. The 6 piece dat yea sauce was great. I find that the sauce was light but it was there for sure. I didn't try the loaded fries because that's not my thing, but my mother throughly enjoyed them. The hot honey drip wings were amazing. If you like sweet wings with a kick, these are definitely for you.The Kajun creek (not pictured), the Keke Palmer (not pictured) and the down the bayou (also not pictured) were great drink. I appreciate that they weren't overly loaded with sugar so you can taste the flavor on its own. We went around dinner time so we were expected it to be busy because of the time and since it's still a new restaurant. Even with this, our server was lovely. She communicated with us that she was going to help us order right after she attends to guest seated already. Communication is key she seemed as she knew everything to help us order and allowed me to try any other drink (the Keke pamler) with no extra charge. The restaurant it's self is well structured besides that it's a small building. I wouldnt recommend dining-in in large groups if you like to be comfortable. The only con I have about the restaurant is they don't accept cash which I wanted to use, but I used my card instead. dat yea wings: 10/10Hot honey drip: 10/10All three drinks (Cajun Kreek, Keke Palmer, Down The Bayou): 8/10

Can't even order a basic burger.Served on 4 dinner rolls, impossible to pickup to eat.$15 burger and greasy fries hardly worth the wait! Won't be there long, then again who knows!

I was prepared to love everything I saw .But that was not at all the the case withThe chicken.I ordered 6 piece chicken wing combo I was not just disappointed, I was not able to eat the " crunchy " wings .. In Reality they were 25% wings or (white meat)75% drums (dark meat)The meat was not hardly possible to eat .. I asked about where are the wings.. I was told by management that next time I should specified "flats" if that's what I wanted.. ohh I see.Never mind when I'm embarrassingly spitting out rock hard pieces .. good lemonade and fries .Service with waiting staff was mediocre at best.

The food is excellent, if you have time to wait 30-45 mins for food you can say the service is good as well.When I say the food is excellent I would say it's the best food in Thibodaux to me.When I say you will wait I mean, the lord will prolly come back before you get your food!
