I got a perfect small gift for a friend $16 and they wrapped it like I had spent $100. It was beautiful. For myself a white melamine bowl which reminded me of an oyster. I had been looking for a new fruit bowl for a while. For $65 this was perfect. Though it would make a beautiful bowl for anything. The store is quite large and curated beautifully. I could have bought many things. Friendly, helpful staff.

Judy's offers a gifts in a few different categories. There is interesting jewelry, customizable somewhat preppy houseware items, serving pieces, New Orleans themed art and maybe a few purses. It's an interesting selection. While you might not find anything to your taste/liking the first time you're in, the next time you may find the perfect wedding/graduation/birthday gift. They do carry quite a few local artists so that's cool.

We had met up with a tour group at a cute little shopping center, and while waiting for everyone else to arrive, I went in Judy's to check things out. The store was small but filled with fun and unique home furnishings. It was the holidays, so they also had on display many extras, so it was fun walking around. As with most shops in New Orleans area, everything "NOLA" was the major theme, so the most recognized Fleur De Lis was on everything, or at least part of it.I bought a cute little jewelry piece that was crystals and wire shaped how else, the Fleur De Lis. Hand crafted by someone local, it was simple, but delicate and sparkled. I love that, and priced even better. So if you are looking for something unique for yourself or for a gift, Judy's might surprise you!

Make a stop here if you are walking the Garden District. I think the owner was helping us out. She made sure that all our gifts were wrapped so nicely. Much appreciated. I bought a beautiful silver cuff bracelet, a NOLA themed umbrella, a cute ornament for a gift, as well as a voodoo doll serving tray which was a hit for a friend's birthday. Fun place.

I was recommended to call here to see if a certain item from a local artist was available. The artist was out of town so her studio was closed. Layna was the lady that helped me. She went way above and beyond to assist me. She went to artist's studio to pick item up for me and had it delivered to me. She was so kind, understanding and willing to help. I could not express enough my gratitude to her and the artist for making item available. You made my best friend's birthday gift a dream come true for her. Thank you

I recently started shopping at Judy, and can never leave without an exciting, unique, new gift or treat for myself. Martha Claire and her staff are beyond helpful and considerate. So glad to see this store stick around with a fresh, new look and faces! If you haven't been within the past year, go!

Randomly rambled into Judy's after a tour of the garden district. Fun, unique well priced gifts. A very fun store. Fantastic owners who are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I probably won't be back in NO or a while but I'll stop by again if I ever return.

While in New Orleans for a convention, I wandered in as walking from Commander's Palace back to the streetcar. Being from a small town with lack of gift shops, I asked about bridge cards with large type. She had a large array of Caspari playing cards, matching napkins, tallies, and score pads--with good prices. She even took my phone number because she was out of large type in one design I really loved. Sure enough when her next order came in a few days later, she called me and let me have them mailed to me [These items are not on the Caspari website. I also found some other party supplies as napkin holders, etc. which I needed. Very gracious service.
