Johnson Farms & Meat Market

We have been using Johnson Family Farms for our meat since moving to Mississippi. We find the quality, price and customer service to be some of the best. Now they have on line ordering. You can't beat that. We normally purchase 1/8 cow every 3 or 4 months for my wife and I. I have several friends from Slidell, La. that use them for their quality and price.The customer service is always first rate. If you have a request they'll do everything they can to meet it. The store is your typical meat market and everything has a place. Very well displayed and marked. They have handouts with the different quantity packs with the prices.

Enjoyed my shopping experience. Owner and team members were very helpful. I purchased cherry smoked sausage and pork tamales. Fantastic quality food. I am a food safety expert by trade and I will also say that their great food safety and presentation was exceptional. I am proud of this Picayune, MS business! great job, Johnson Meat Market!

I was worried that after leaving a food mecca such as New Orleans, I'd have trouble having access to top quality food choices. Johnson Farms & Meat Market didn't disappoint. Pulling into the parking lot and finding my way inside was such a delight! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the samples they offered was delish! My friend and I both bought steaks for grilling (ribeyes & filets), pimento cheese, cheese cubes, breakfast sausage, cole slaw, deviled egg potato salad, and bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos. Everything was top notch and I'm looking forward to becoming a regular customer there.

If you bring your deer in for processing, you'll be missing key parts. There are other trusted places nearby for deer processing.
