Wow. You get what you pay for. This place is a bit pricey but the food is fantastic. Flavorful, Fresh and most importantly tasty. We had cheese nachos, chicken fajitas and the brownie for dessert. It was all so good!! I have wanted to try Aaron Sanchez's restaurant ever since I saw him as a judge on Masterchef with Gordon Ramsay. The server was so nice and attentive. Everything was great!! Ty

If everyone in your group wants to eat out Mexican food, but you're in the mood for a burger, you have found the right place! The Adios Cheeseburger with Adobo Fries wasn't something I expected to order for my first time eating here because I love Mexican food. However, I couldn't resist and wasn't disappointed. The staff was very efficient and friendly, checking on us often and refilling our drinks. It's a great place to eat if you're in the Central Business District on Poydras. The restaurant is very spacious and open, with simple yet elegant decor in a neutral tone.I will definitely be going back there again.

I used to think that the decor was chaotic, but now I get it. It's medieval whimsy. I love the Día de los Muertos mural. Service from all the staff we encountered was top notch from the host, to our waiter, to waiters who weren't assigned to us, to the friendly man from back of house who ran our food. Our server. T with the locs, was attentive and understanding when my date didn't enjoy his cocktail. The al pastor ribs with fried corn was presented with a smoke filled glass cloche. They didn't taste like al pastor and were cooler than room temperature, but I found the flavor interesting- in a good way. The positive connotations I have to them was probably because they were so tender. The fried chicken sandwich is no longer there, but I ordered the adobo fries that used to accompany them. The fries seasoning changed a ton from the days of the chicken sandwich (late quarantine). They are very cumin forward. I didn't love that, but they made up for it by coming with an automatic-no questions asked tin cup of ketchup. The most patriotic thing about me is that I believe that French fries and ketchup are an American staple and if I wanted a mouth full of mayonnaise, I'd go to Belgium. I'd move to Belgium for the healthcare, but not to dip a fry into aioli. I digressed. Date man really enjoyed the enchiladas. The frozen drinks are strong and the recipe tastes really fresh. We came on a taco Tuesday, but we missed the happy hour from 3-6pm which was fine. I'd come back any day.

Easily my favorite restaurant while in NOLA. We shared the carnitas nachos 10/10! I ordered the shrimp and grits ( way better than anything around town)! Going back tomorrow for more! The staff is so friendly and kept calling us all "My Love". I had the shrimp and grits both times, it was that good. Great artwork on the walls and upbeat vibe. This restaurant is owned by chef Arron Sanchez and we loved it!

The restaurant food, staff, drinks and location was great! There was a parking lot directly across the street which made the walk to ideal. The staff were all well groomed and attentive to all customers. It was extremely clean as well. We didn't have to wait to be seated and was immediately greeted by our waitress as well as given free samples of Paloma. The food was absolutely delicious! It was nice size portions, well seasoned and plated lovely. I can't wait to try more dishes. Our drinks were also tasty and strong!

Wanted to see how the Tacos and Margs held up against other mexican/tex-mex spots in town. It was a Saturday night with good college football games on, but the restaurant itself wasn't very busy. I sat at the bar and was seen immediately, the bar staff was great. I had a frozen margarita and got the carne asada tacos. Was disappointed in the menu selection for tacos with only carne asada, a vegetarian option, and a fried fish option. Overall I found the menu to be very limited. However, the tacos were great and the meat was seasoned very well. I had a side of rice and elote, and the elote was probably my favorite part of the meal. The margarita was very strong, but that's how I prefer it. This location has nothing special ambiance-wise, but it was decent for a taco and marg with some college football. I wish there was an option to order tacos ala acarte. The meal was definitely pricier than I would expect to pay for the quantity and quality. It was tasty, but probably won't find it's way into a regular rotation.

Was in town for work and wanted to try this place as it was walking distance to the hotel. Service is really good....prompt and attentive. Ordered mainly a variety of the tacos. All very tasty. Never had Albondigas tacos. It was good! Had quite a few drinks. All very tasty especially if you like tequila. Defined will come back next time we're in town.

I've been to New Orleans a few times & it's one of my favorite cities in the U.S & every time I've been here it's been a 5-star restaurant experience & it's the only place domestic & international that I've been to thus far where every restaurant literally I've given 5 stars....until today. My sister & I are fans of Masterchef & like Aaron Sanchez & since my sister was already going to be in New Orleans for a wedding which was a few days prior to her birthday, my family & I flew in a few days earlier, so we could celebrate. If it wasn't for this being Aaron Sanchez restaurant we would've never came & I to wish we didn't.For starters in New Orleans the low temperature was like 86 while the high was over 100. On this particular day it was muggy & humid outside. When we got to the restaurant it was hot as hell! THEY DIDN'T HAVE AC!!!!! Once we sat down, I mentioned it being so hot & the waitress actually said "it's been broke for awhile". How?!?!?!?????? It's 100 degrees & humid outside, how is it that the AC has been broke for days!!!!! That is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I can give you 24-48 hours broken, but for awhile?!?!?! If this were any other day I would've left! Now to the food...(it literally just kept getting worse) smh. So for my appetizer I had the guac & chips which was fine. For my entree I had the chicken quesadilla & didn't not like it at all. I believe they put cheese on top & which is why it looked how it did, however we eat with our eyes first & it wasn't aesthetically pleasing. It looked like a omelet. I also had the street corn which was good. For my drink I had the Cruising Punch (which the sever forgot to put in for me smh) & it was ok. The rest of my party thought the food was ok, but nothing to rave about.I had to use the restroom & going to the restroom looks like a scene from a scary movie. It's a long hall & to the left it's the entrance to the bathroom with the restaurant next door. Never in my life had I seen nonsense like that. The women's restroom as well only had 2-3 stalls, so having two restaurants share it is ridiculous. Once you walk down the long hallway, there's a door & when you go through there is a women's & men's bathroom. It's just very dark & cold getting to that bathroom. This restaurant also has a thing where they only accept 4 credit cards max with a party. I've never heard of that before in my life & I don't see the purpose of that. I would respect it more if they said one card or don't have the "rule" at all. With each bill as well they charge gratuity, which I think is slick. There were only 5 people our bill was covering (because we asked for a separate check due to the size of party & with the 4 card rule it's just too much) but we were charged gratuity as well as the other people using a card.I was extremely disappointed! I would NEVER come here again & I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else either. It's ironic the rating for this is as high as it is. I just can't believe Aaron is a millionaire & you have your AC in your restaurant in 100 degree weather city not working for awhile. That is just insane to me. For some people they just care about a profit & nothing else & Aaron didn't seem like that kind of person, but I just don't know how he could be ok with that. Have you ever tried eating & had to fan yourself at the same time? That's not a fun time. I just can't believe this experience I had. I love dining at new places & having experiences while enjoying delicious food & this wasn't it. I just saw a review & someone said in July the AC wasn't working & now it's August. Smfh UNACCEPTABLE WHEN Q MILLIONAIRE OWNS IT!Marissa- that response to the AC is unacceptable. I've only been to New Orleans during the summertime & never went into a restaurant that didn't have AC. These other businesses that you speak of has not been my experience. You all need to hire someone from HVAC who can address this or walk next door to another business & ask them "what are you doing to keep your business cool during the Summer" or "what kind of system are you using". You live in New Orleans & already know how the weather is going to be in the summer, so that's unacceptable. You had all year to get it together before the summer & didn't. It's been broke for over a month, that is ridiculous.

The place was extremely understaffed. not many workers at all and it took ~40 minutes for the apps to come out. The carne asada meat was not even real carne asada meat, it was incredibly tough to where it felt like chewing leather; could not take more than two bites of it before I had to stop. We only got chips when we got (and paid for) chips and salsa. It was extra to get the salsa we originally paid for.We felt like there was no point to get a refund or cause a scene so we just left.
