Jimbo's Seafood

Best crawfish in town! They make sure they provide quality seafood - crabs are always full and crawfish are the perfect size. They are my go to place for boiled seafood. Call and reserve in advance because they will run out. Seasoned to perfection! I have NEVER purchased bad seafood from them.

I ordered a Lb of boiled shrimp and a clump of king crab legs to be boiled. The woman Therese reached down deep into a freezer an pulled out the crab legs which were very very frozen.The glass case with fresh seafood was empty except for a small amount of shrimp. I waited 10 minutes for the seafood to be cooked. I have back an knee problems and there were no chairs . I paid $25.00 an took seafood home to eat. The crab legs were poorly seasoned. The shrimp was mushy an were either old or over cooked. I called Jimbo's an was told to bring them back. After I got there she refused to take the shrimp back. I should also mention that there was almost no seasoning on the shrimp. I will never buy from this place again. Do not buy from them ever!!'

This is the best crawfish in town!!! We live in Prairieville and it's a lil bit of a drive but oh so worth it! I have not had anyone's to beat them yet...my husband is very close! Crawfish is always beautiful and clean! You can't go wrong over than calling ahead and reserve.

I must admit I was spoiled living so close to Jimbo's when I first moved to town, but now I truly appreciate the quality they offer. After moving across town, I tried a lot of closer places for crawfish...you know the story "I have a cousin that gets crawfish" or "I swear this place has the best prices"...and every time I've wished I had just driven to Jimbo's. Alas, in my old age, I've learned to go with what you know and the people who never waiver on quality. Jimbo's is locally owned, which is a huge bonus in my book as well as an honestly run place of business. If the crawfish are fragile, they'll let you know. If they're small, they'll let you know. These guys are by far some of the best people to do business with that I can think of....matter of fact, perhaps I shouldn't be letting the cat out of the bag on this spot...too late now, I guess.Even if you are looking for boiled crawfish or shrimp, Jimbo's will treat you like family. They are seasoned well and really have that South Louisiana flavor that I'm sure most of you appreciate. Don't be fooled or be lazy drive to Jimbo's or just end up looking crazy!!

I have been buy cooked crawfish from Jimbo's for many years. Without a doubt this is the best place to get properly cooked and seasoned crawfish. The owner's are good people and run an honest business.

Crawfish and more. Owner operated. You might be tempted to get cheaper crawfish at Albertson;s, but that would be a mistake. David is a former crawfisherman. He knows the guys who are out in the spillway. His crawfish are consistently in better shape and bigger. He sorts each sack trashing the dead and trash critters. What you buy is 100% edible vs 85-90% edible for Albertson's stuff. Call ahead to reserve. He doesn't cook a lot extra or sell cold crawfish.

Best crawfish in town! I now live in Chicago, but when I'm in town to visit family I always stop by for seafood (sometimes every day!) Very personable and they allow me to call ahead and reserve seafood. She will also boil shrimp to the flavor that you want, which my parents always enjoy. Crawfish is usually ready in the afternoon around 2pm. Call first because she will run out. Thank me later!

My family has been going to Jimbo's for years, ever since I was a little girl, and the quality and taste of the seafood is consistently great. Every time we've tried crawfish elsewhere, we were sorely disappointed. You can't beat the flavor or cleanliness of Jimbo's Seafood. I will state that if you don't like a lot of seasoning you should probably look elsewhere, but for my Cajun family it's the best. I also like that it's locally owned and operated. The owners are polite and friendly. Just make sure you call ahead and reserve your order; they don't usually make enough extra to cover walk in orders! (You've been warned ).

I Love this place! Theresa and David take pride in their business and make sure their customers receive quality seafood. I've enjoyed crawfish, shrimp, and crabs from here for almost 7 years and would NOT go anywhere else! If you are looking for quality seafood then you need to stop by Jimbos! Don't let the look fool you, the quality is GREATTTTT!

Jimbos is consistent. Their boiled crawfish and shrimp are always good. It's a mom and pop and operation. They know what they're doing. We order from them often.
