I assisted with the setup of the venue for an event on last Friday evening, 7/14/23, and attended the event. This place has so much potential, but the entire experience was made horrible by one person, the sound technician and building maintenance guy, Eric. He said he would be responsible for having the A/C on early to cool the building down--he did not because it was terribly hot in there. The microphones that he controlled were constantly having problems. The lighting that he controlled was horrible. He would not honor the contract and open the door timely to allow caterers access. And to top it all off, he talked down to everyone with his condescending attitude.

The best place for kids to enjoy a kid's production during the summer months. This was my first time here and I had a great time with my family watching the great talents the lined the stage. It was an Adams Family production that truly bought back the memory of the old show many grew to love. I would recommend this establishment for children's entertainment. I can only rate it from that experience and I enjoyed it.

The theater in Westwego is a nice place that needs a little love. I attended a play here and I was really impressed by the facility! I'm not sure when the theater was opened, but it looks like a recently opened place that has fallen into a minor state of disrepair in a short amount of time.In order to get here, you have to really know where you're going. What's great is that anyone from the metro who doesn't ordinarily venture into the area, gets introduced to a quaint little world. And kudos to the City of Westwego for doing some street work on Sala Ave. where the performing arts complex is located. The design of the theater is great. It seats somewhere between 200 and 300 people, and there is not a bad seat in the house. For the real theater buffs, it's pretty neat that there is an actual orchestra pit and a rotating set on the stage. It would be nice to see the good folks of Jefferson Parish support this venue with more shows and their contributions to maintain the facilities.

Pathetic sub-amateur theater put on by frauds. Existing mainly on the monies received from the good tax payers of Jefferson Parish, this "dis-organization" survives like a parasite. It exists more as a social club for those inside the clique, than as a performing arts society. They perform in a high school auditorium, and they aren't even up to that level of professionalism.Wouldn't know good theater if it ran them over with a tour bus.
