JB's Bar & Grill

J B's is one of the best neighborhood bars around Metairie and there are quite a few. They have Hendricks, which is my favorite. The bartenders are always super friendly and very liberal with their pour.

A great dive bar with great bartenders. Especially Zach. But I sure do miss Jarod- he was like the modern day tom cruise in Cocktail.

Decent little dive on Metairie road. Often empty, but they seem like they're stepping up their game with some new promotions. Food is pretty good, especially compared to the equivalent dives in the area. All in all, a pretty decent place to step in for a quick drink, but I wouldn't pass a whole lot of time here.

The worst bar I've ever to. Bartenders were extremely unprofessional and talked shit about our outfits. We were so nice the entire time and had nothing but nice things to say and the bartenders wanted to be extremely rude and treat us like we were dirt on the ground. This place deserves to go out of business because of how horribly they choose to treat their customers and have no acknowledgement of how they act. This place needs to be refunded. ASAP.

Beware: the bartender may automatically serve you a double and charge you for them, WITHOUT ASKING if you want a double! This happened to me tonight. We stopped there for an after dinner drink, ordered a shot of tequila and the bartender took it upon herself to serve a double without telling us, she simply charged us for it. When we got the bill we questioned why we were served and charged for doubles when that is not what we ordered. Her response was "well you drank it." Although that may be true we 1. Did not order that and 2. Therefore did not know we were drinking doubles. If you find yourself at JB's make sure you are as specific as possible when ordering or you may be over served and charged.

What a happinin' spot!!! Bar tenders are so groovy and jive. Young fun and friendly crowd. This place is a MUST! You won't regret it. Food is outstanding. Cheese logs are to die for!
